I've had the VV Pulse V2 squonk for awhile and like it. It was sitting idle for about 1 week and when I went to use it I found it was sitting in a puddle of liquid. Checking further it seems that the liquid was also in the bottom of each door panel (I think from sitting in the puddle). I cleaned it all up and washed the squonk bottle and all its bits. I did a little searching and this seems to be a problem with the cap for the bottom fill. If you look close you will see the hinge pins (for the flip out handle) are not sealed and if liquid travels down the threads of the fill cap then liquid can seep to the outside of the cap.
What I've done to fix is to use Teflon tape around the threads. Being thin there does not seem to be any issues with screwing the cap back onto the squonk bottle.
I've cut the Teflon tape so that only the threads and hinge pins are covered. About two wraps should do it.
Teflon tape being used for drinking water connections should be OK to use around e-liquid (at least that's my guess).

I just wanted to post this in case others are having the same issue.

According to some, the other bottle included w/ the v2 doesn't have that problem.
I haven't heard that. All that I've seen was that both bottles, the white/dark silicone have the same issue. I'm using the dark bottle which is what I think the G10 Obsidian black came with installed. I'll have to check my two spare bottles to see if you can see the hinge pins on the threaded side of the cap. If you can then the same problem may still exist. But good info, thanks

I too have seen this, it doesn't happen overnight for me, just if I leave the bottle full for a couple of days do I start to notice the leaking

I am interested to see how the Teflon tape is holding up since you have to unscrew the base to fill.

So are you having to reapply the Teflon tape often?

Have you ever tried refilling from the 510? I just learned of this myself.
FastTech - 510 refill bottles

Agreed! I suggest at least a 50ml unit for heavy vapers.

Note: the WOTOFO easy fill caps only seem to work on the early versions of Chubby G bottles, the current V3 bottles are not compatible.

I've refilled only once, (I have 3 other sqonkers going) and the teflon tape remained. I made sure that the end of the teflon was being tighten when I screwed the cap back on. I guessing this tighten it enough that it didn't come undone when I screwed the cap off to refill but I was expecting it. I have had no leaks since I applied the teflon. It sits about 1/2 full, idle for about two days for me.

Yes, and I have quite a few refill bottles, but I don't like to take the RDA off all the time. The draw to the Pulse V2 was the thought of not having to pull a bottle out to fill, nor take the RDA off.

Good to hear it is holding up :w00t:

Just an update since I saw this post referenced. It's been about 1.5 months since I've added the Teflon tape to the refill cap threads and as of the date of this post, No Leaks. The Pulse II was sitting idle for about 7 days (once) and not a single seep of e-liquid around the refill cap.
