Dog tried to eat my juice!!!

The postman brought my second Grizwald delivery this morning unfortunately I had gone out the dog must of smelt the juice(i vape sweet juices) through the package and had just started ripping it open luckily I came back before she could digest any it must have been the smell as we have had her 4 years and she has never touched the post when I am at work all day!!!

The smell tempts them. Always keep your juice out of their reach just like you would with children.

I don't know what you'll do about deliver when you aren't home but hopefully you or someone here can come up with solution.

Have the package shipped to work or get a PO box? Might be a little bit of inconvenience but much less than a vet bill for the pooch or worse...

There won't be a vet bill. That much nic will be fatal to a pet.

I know some pets love the smell, even the vaper smells really good to some of them.
You have to be really careful or they will eat the juice.
My cat would if given the chance.

my dog only got to my juice once. my friend gave me a 6ml bottle of crab juice since I wanted to try it once. I came home and I saw my dog throw up. turns out she bit into the bottle. thank god she didnt eat the whole thing

Yea, gotta be careful. I keep all my juices out of reach for the most part, but sometimes I move into another room in the house and bring a bottle or 2 to drip and forget them on the coffee table. Luckily, my dog hasn't shown much of an interest in my juices, but it always worries me. I've turned back around a few times after leaving the house just to come back and make sure I didn't leave any juices out where he can get them. Ugh... the thought of coming home to my poor lil doggie ODed on my juice...

I suppose your mailbox in your front door. I once saw at somebody who owns a dog that they had some kind of box connected to their mail box that catches the post into it. It was made of (i don't know if i say this correctly) chicken wire (like a bird cage??). Their dog used to eat the newspapers the moment they were delivered through the mail box. But after they'd installed this, never had the problem anymore.
You might be able to make one yourself if you cannot buy them in a pet shop.

I would suggest a metal dog crate with a door on top. Open the door on top, place under mail slot.
