Hi Yall,

So My Mother in law has been smoking for over 40 years. Everyone else in her family has quit....and she is finally ready to take the Ecig plunge. Im skyping with her later tonight about what hardware to think about getting, but I think her main issue will be finding a nice ADV juice.

I'm looking for basic tasty tobacco flavors. Right now that is the "taste" she knows and she has smelled my vaping before and doesn't care for all my blueberry crumble, coconut pudding nonsense. So just a good, tasty basic tobacco.

She currently smokes Carlton 100s....they are pretty light, so Im looking for something comparable in a juice for her.

Any ideas?

A good juice is important for sure, but so is the hardware.

The vaping craze took over at my work for awhile and then slowly, one by one, all but a few of us went back to smoking. Every single one gave up on it because they were tired of fooling with leaky, persnickety hardware. None of them were the type to get online and do any research or go on the hunt for something that DID work, they just threw in the towel and bought a pack of smokes. Those of us who stuck with it got hooked on the hobby side of things and kept trying different setups until we found one that worked for us.

That said, I'd also try to make sure to get her something that doesn't need steeped for weeks, which is common with tobaccos. That's all well and good when you have a big stash of stuff already steeped, but I remember how frustrating it was to hear "Ya gotta let that steep" when I first started out. I believe Halo Tribeca might be a good one..it's a tried and true by many and I am pretty sure it's pre-steeped. Someone come correct me if I'm wrong.

Wish her luck from me! I smoked for 25 years and quit the same day I got my first set-up ..has been like a miracle for me.

Hey asha-
Heather's Heavenly Vapes was recommended to me and they get good reviews here as well. They have a wide selection of "regular" tobacco flavors and you can either get a Sample Pack or if you want to try individuals they have 6ml size in the full range of nicotine for $6. I got my Test Out Samples this week but, haven't cracked them open yet.

I'm sure you'll get good suggestions here.

You're doing good to help your mom. Best of luck!

I've been vaping since 2010.
Finding a good ejuice can be tricky, and i've tried a ton of different vendors.
If you want a no-nonsense, no luck of the draw, consistent A+ , Top of the line E-juices, i'd get on over to Halo ecigs.
Ask around, nobody makes juice any better.

For Tobacco flavs i'd go in this order:
1. Torque 56 - is best i've ever tried in 4 years to date.
2. Freedom juice
3. Longhorn
4. Turkish
5. Tiki Juice - kinda spicy..

As for gear simple.
1. Vision spinner 2 battery is 1600 mah VV battery.
2. Nautilus Mini tank with the new BVC (bottom vertical coil) heating elements.

That will set her up without ever having to go back to cigs.
Here's a link to the tobacco section at Halo
Remeber, you want to get the 30 ml bottle in 24mg nicotine if she was heavy smoker.

aww hell i'll give u links to what u need:
1. spare elements - makes the vapor..u want 1.6 or 1.8 ohm
2. Nautilus Mini tank
3. Vision spinner2 battery

That's all she'll need....plus the juice from halo...o.k !:D

Cheers!

I agree with the comments above about Halo. Order her a tobacco sample pack and you can grab her a hardware starter kit there too. Their juices hit hard and are satisfying to people still on analogues and though I don't personally use their hardware, many thousands do and really like it. This keeps it simple for her if she takes to it.

Thanks for the Goodejuice recommend v1k1ng!

I wouldn't go for the goodejuice, i had some about 2 yrs. ago, was below average.
Try the ejuice in tobacco section at Halo.
Or try the juice at Freedomsmoke usa....i've always had great tobacco flavs from their as well as Halo.
cheers!
