That would be one crazy looking setup. Hell im getting the vulcanator to sit on my raptor box permanently.

It's a wide bore top cap.

It's a heat sink for the base.

Im loving how a lot of stuff is starting to come out with interchangeable pieces, hopefully we are on our way to a "standard sizes"

That's a pretty good idea. The extra height wouldn't bother me at all and it would save the mod's 510 from repeated atty changes... especially good for some of the newer regulated boxes with reportedly dodgy 510s. I may grab one to live on top of my IPV2.

That's exactly what i was thinking, while also keeping the mod cooler when using higher wattage build. I could see some worring about voltage drop on a mech (im sure it would be insubstantial though)
But hell with my raptor box my vdrop with my TOBH is .01(at 6v), so im not worried about that.
Plus i LOVE fins!

I actually picked up a second one, Holy Grail edition. While it comes with a copper center post by default, the little tool kit it comes with has a spare SS center post so it can be changed out (which I did).
