Donations to buy Jackie from UKV a Commemorative Mod for all her Hard Work!

There's a Donations thread on UK Vapers.org to raise funds to buy Jackie a commerative mod of some description and i thought i post it here too in the UKV sub.

As for the continued collection for a Commemorative Mod - i'd be willing to do some collection and arrange to purchase and deliver one (Jackie's local

) - after consultation with the donatees of course.

So what we aiming for - a VV, Squonk Box or something with a Kick

Set up a WePay Donations account - keeps track so folk can see how it's going and the only one i've used that does - prefer transparency with such things

Tis American so donations are in dollars - set a time limit to the end of the month and a target of $200 - thee never know

To start the ball rolling i've put in $15 - see how it goes.

As we reached the initial $200 within about 8 hours - decided to knock the target up to $500.

Should be a Mini ProVari + which would be Awesome!

Next step is to work out how to withdraw the funds LoL

By the look of it there's a few dozen at least - I'm sure she'll be as amazed as i've been at the amount of folk that have appreciated the Effort that she's put into UKV.com over the last few years - and i haven't started on the Vendors and Mod Makers yet

Hopefully they'll be enough to provide Jackie with a Vaping Goodies Hamper - which should keep her in Vaping necessities for a year or more - Have contacted a Repairable maker or two and sure they'll be Wick, Mesh and Wire coming too!
Next thing is Juice and Batteries etc.

With the budget you've developed and since a Provari is on the table, why not consider a gold plated Provari and have a presentation box made for it that fits the Provape insert? I'd also suggest engraving the device, but not sure how that would work out with the plating.

We have now hit $500 so have raised the Target to $750 - never know

The Plan is now to get together a Vaping Goodies Hamper which will contain:
A Commemorative Mod (or 2 )
Rebuildable Atomiser - Clockworks RTA + possibly a Hellfire
Wick, Wire and Mesh
A Years supply (well a few months) of Juice - preferably from the likes of Vapist, Pixie and Easy - UKV's Juice Genii

any more ideas, suggestions or donated items for the Hamper - Feel free to add to the Post or PM me

I think that's a fantastic idea. I wasn't on UK Vapers, and I don't know Jackie. However, after reading all the flood of information and opinion in the last few days it sounds like she has done a lot of great service to the vaping community, especially in the UK. I think it's fantastic that she's being recognized this way. Y'all are a class act.

Just got back in to a PM from Dan (on Vape Pit) giving me a heads up on this- folk are having issues with being able to donate - receiving emails to said effect - and as a consequence the running total has gone down.

Will contact WePay tomorrow and find out what's going on - and post to let folks know.
Must admit to not having checked the 'small print' - it was recommended to me a while a go by a friend - who happens to be a Yank

Will post tomorrow having spoken to WePay (they do have a very good Customer service bit)
and having looked into alternatives.

I'd have to set up a separate PP account or something - as the only one i have is used for other Online stuff.

At the end of the day this is for Jackie so the important thing is that it happens - not whose doing it

Running total in dollars -again

The Plan is to create a UK Vaper's Hamper for Jackie - the founder and Workhorse behind UK Vapers.com
This will include a Commemorative Mod or 2 - bought or 'created'
Clockworks RTA
Hellfire
Juice - preferably a few months supply
Wick, Wire and Mesh
Basically all her Vaping needs for a few months

For a ProVari Mini - am finding out if ProVape will make a special UKV End Cap - a couple of design suggestions by Maff: this being one of them - both visible here

The donations will be going into my personal PP account - this has been 'emptied' and will be untouched by me for any purposes until the end of the month - the running total will then be collected, the total amount posted, and agreed upon purchases made.
