So when you pull the tube off, you have to make sure that the o ring sticks to the tube? Because my o ring didnt rip, but it mostly came off the tube. I then peeled off the parts of the ring that was still stuck on the tube and placed it back on the connector. After placing the tube back on, it leaks at the bottom where the tube meets the connector.

@badkolo, i'm not mad and i know that they are considered disposable. I'm just used to the fluxo's, and figured if i tried it, someone else will. Just wanted to get that info out...

Well, I actually didn't notice if it said they were glued or not... But to be honest, I'm not an expert with these things, so I am going to try cleaning them without taking them apart. I like them too much (and they are a tad costly) to screw them up. Glue or no glue, the 1.5 works better than anything else I've tried so far, so that's good 'nuff for me. :)

And, adding an edit: I bet with my normal vaping habits, and normal (as opposed to designed-to-kill-anything-quick) juice, I can make it last about a week without cleaning anyways...

I wanted to see how they cleaned up, so last nite, before bed, I tried wiggling the tube off one of my 1.5s. It didn't seem to want to budge easily, so I gave up on that idea. Instead I soaked it in Everclear for a few minutes, rinsed it under running hot water, and put it on the shelf. This morning I dry burned it a couple times, and it looks like new. Wicks are nice and white. Coil looks great. Probably needs to dry a while before I fill it again. The only disadvantage is that I can't manually dry the wicks like I do with the Fluxos. Maybe with a little practice, I'll be able to safely get the tubes off.

I didn't even wait for it to dry... Rinsed in water, soaked in vodka for half an hour, rinsed again (real well), dry burned after patting with a paper towel a bit, dry burned, brushed, rinsed again. It's now sitting there waiting for me to fill. I'm pretty sure it's not going to be completely dry, but I don't have that kind of patience. :) Wicks look real clean. Coil is clean. Wick inside the coil - not so much. We'll see...

I just tried taking one of the tubes off and it seemed to be going well but then I noticed a small section of the ring had broken. I only pulled it off about a 16th of an inch and decided not to go any further and pushed it back on. It doesn't seem to be leaking.

Instead I soaked it in Everclear for a few minutes, rinsed it under running hot water, and put it on the shelf.

Everclear evaporates pretty quickly so instead of raising in water just leave it soaked with Everclear. There is alcohol in most juices so more than likely even if the wicks aren't completely dry you can still do a dry burn and load up with juice.

I'm laughing hysterically at myself... Not having any patience, I loaded up the carto with my Vanilla (good clean taste to check if there is any burning flavor), waited, like, three minutes, set my Provari to 3.7 and fired. No thick vapor, but a bit of watery taste... Hmmm... I'm worried. Then it hits me: It's water vapor! Duh.

Edit after five minutes: set it to 4V, took a few watery hits, now it's vaping fine. No burnt taste. So far so good.

Edit after another five minutes: everything is fine. Perfect, in fact. The cleaning issue, for me, is resolved.

I will try that next time. Because I rinsed it with water, it was too wet to dry burn right away.
