I am no fanboy by any stretch of the imagination. OTOH if you are new to vaping I strongly recommend you take a couple of runs around the block.

Now that is pretty conceited, and I intend it as such! If you haven't been around the block at least once, then your opinion and evaluation has very little merit. In all honesty what are you comparing it to?
  • Well I heard all the hooplah surrounding IKV gear.
  • just because it doesn't work on "A" do you have sufficient knowledge and gear to say it doesn't work on "B"?
This vid using gear that was suppose to be non performers provides a deferring perspective. I am someone special or just a simple vaper like all of us? Who eventually knows how to use his gear at its full potential! Quit chasing friggin rainbows!

It pretty amazing that the video is made using atty's (and cartos?) that were supposed to be non performing items and had apparently been returned for refund or exchange. Huge plumes of vapor from these alleged non-functioning items.

To me, the sad part of this is that the people who return these items that do function (they don't know how to make them work or to put them on another mod or battery) just drive the prices up for the rest of us.

Anyhow, point well taken Switched. And thanks.

TT,

I need to point out the items used in the video were all in operating order, they were mine. However, some of the items used like the eGo T for example whichas we know as seen a variety of reviews to a hung jury. I love the thing. It was cleaned once because it clogged up after 9 days. It was the fault of the liquid. I DO NOT CLEAN MY GEAR, with the exception of the odd blow through. Then why is my gear performing so good and too many it is just crap. One example was with a standard 510, one atty will be 1 yr old in Aug (eGo Mega type A), that one did get a rinse about a month ago and still performs like a champ.

The vid was for demonstrations purposes that old Switcher is not full of... a picture is worth 1K words.

What frustrates me day in and day out is folks not willing to accept that perhaps they are doing something wrong. I popped atties just like everyone else in the beginning. I have also killed atties by cleaning them etc... but I accepted certain facts and corrected my mistakes.

I love riddles, if I may

So if you are new to vaping do not buy from IkenVape because you are not seasoned enough yet...that's what it sounds like to me. You are too an intelligent and knowledgeable fan-person. just admit it

Well, let's face it..you are conceited but that is one of the things I like about you the most. Just how many blocks do I need to travel before I can order from IkenVape again?

Well I heard all the hooplah surrounding IKV gear.

HOOPLAH ?? seriously, do you think everyone that expresses a negative experience is just HOOPLAH ?? We have no merit??
not enough knowledge ?? wow I mean really c'mon.

You have NO right to tell me to stop chasing rainbows......I'll chase em if I want and hopefully I'll find that pot of gold.

Seriously Switched I don't think some of the comments were needed and I don't think your helping IKE...should I go tell the newbies they are not ready for this place yet and to buy somewhere else?
Even though .........I still love ya man and I mean that. I really like the fusions!!

:p :p and another :p.....

I fully agree. This is the thing I love about vaping as a hobby. When atomizers are not working as they should or mechanical equipement is failing there is almost always a solution. The part I really enjoy is finding the variables and eliminating them so that I might find out what the problem really is so that I might correct the problem. In the end I am rewarded with a very satisfying vape and the sence that I am at least a semi-intilligent human being who can grasp the concept of problem solving. Of course the forums here are a wonderful place to lean things and ask questions so that you might be able to solve your issues.

This is why vaping can deter a number of people because it is not just as simple as plug'n'play.

I get your point, but I do wish that it was easier for people that are just starting out. I have tried to introduce many people to vaping but only a few have stuck all because it is quite an involved process when compared to smoking. I personally enjoy it but I happened to be short on hobbies since my accident and this filled the void nicely.

It is easy. Tell them to buy an 808/510/etc starter kit with an auto battery from a vendor that doesn't rape the wallet and also has prefilled cartridges. They don't need to fidget with something if they want simple. I think the biggest misconception is that vaping is just like smoking. It's not, nor will it ever be. The sensation will never be the same and the flavor (or lack thereof) will not be the same. That seems to be the hardest thing for people to get over - around me anyways. This doesn't have to be a hobby for people if they don't want it to be, but they have to learn to relax and accept it for what it is if they don't want to put anything into it other than screwing an atomizer/cartomizer on a battery and sucking on it.

Nice to put a name with a face - kind of in the dark though :) But you are right Switched. I have stuff that is over a year old and works just fine. I don't clean my atomizers either (typically), though I do clean connections. I find right batt/atty combo, and right liquid wetness of atomizer is pretty key. A VV is a crutch in a way, but it does make life easier when my atty and juice don't work well with my batt & holder of choice.
