I think a lot of folks on this forum agree with you. I was one of the lucky ones not to have tried them, I guess.

I got the SE gold kit...I like it. Had I to do it all over again, I would have bought some empty carts, extra battery, an ounce of juice, and at least one more atty. Lots of vapor, nice nicotine 'hit', and generally a satisfying 'smoke'. I feel the urge for a smoke, and a couple hits off my SE Gold satisfies my cravings.

Problems: The included carts are too small, I burned through the included five the first day. Batteries don't last very long. the pre-loaded carts tend to gurgle, and flood the atty. I read through these forums, and cooked up my own juice....and it'll hold me until my resupply gets here.

Solutions: The included carts, once sucked dry, are easily reloaded with five drops of diluted VG. No more gurgling...tons of vapor...I'm blowing vapor rings all over the place. I'm looking forward to some double capacity carts, and some nicotine. I boiled an entire pack of cigarettes today, making my own juice....it's satisfying, but lacks the nic kick. Batts, until my order of 3 more get here, will....I hope....live up to the challenge. I'm smoking one, charging the other, nearly full time. Same for the one atty...so far, It's holding up fine.

Overall...it's not a bad introductory package. They could improve on it by including some juice, and instructions on how to reload the carts. pre charging the batts, before shipping...and testing them...and lastly, providing detailed help for the newbs.

SE is responsible for my going 12 days without an analog...and when presented with an entire pack of Marlboro light 100's, (just this afternoon).....I boiled them, and made juice for my E-Cig. Yeah, I could be happier, but I'm still satisfied.

I have to cmine in as always on these... I still love my SE Gold / RN4081. Even though I am now getting into the cartomizers more (KR808D type) For juice testing when making new flavors and such, or just nice and small pocket fog machine - it is really hard to beat. Either the atty replacement I got was another freak of production - or they just aren't all that bad. I'll keep mine :D

Take care,
- Hap

HaploVoss;
If you really get into it, the 4081 & 510 attys are almost the same. As soon as I trash a 510 atty, I'm taking measurements.

The only difference I can see right now is the body diameter. 501 larger to take an internal cart, and 4081 smaller, to take an external cart. Also 510 is a 4 hole, and 4081 is a 2 hole. Different draw rates.

Bridges and coils look to be identical, but I still haven't measured them, but one is just as tough as the other.

There is only one reason the 4081 get's bashed, and that reason is Smoking Everywhere.

Hi Jim.I've been lurking here for awhile and have found your posts very informative. But?

"Also 510 is a 4 hole" mine are all 2 hole,think 810 is the 4 hole.

"There is only one reason the 4081 get's bashed, and that reason is Smoking Everywhere" That and auto battery.i might have liked mine if it vaped on demand, not when it felt like it!

By God, yer right. I typed without thinking. The 510 *is* also a 2 hole. What threw me is the battery. The 4081 batt has 2 notches, and the 510 has 4 notches.

The auto batts are sometimes touchy. They work OK after they're broken in. I got my old auto batts out last week for a change, and they vaped nice. The switches have loosened up over the months, and are very responsive, although these are DSE103 batts.

Most folks prefer the manuals, but I still have a few autos left, and I'll use them until they crash.

MY tuen to comment now. I do have a 4081 that i got from Smoking Everywhere and I have to say that I like it a lot. Although I had a little trouble with it at first with the atmomizers, everything is fine now. Although it is a lot more expensive that others. The advantage is that I can take it back to them any time I have a problem with it and they help me out every time with no problems.

I did end up buying a 510 because I wanted a stronger and bigger hit, but I still use my SE in the evening because it gives a nice light hit and I like that in the evening.
