So I began my vape journey about 5 years ago when I bought a Vapolution for my.. uh.. dry goods. I loved it.

My consumption of these goods have decreased substantially over the years and so my Vapolution was sold about a year later.

2 years ago I jumped on the ecig bandwagon by purchasing a v2 kit and I used the ecigs regularly, and even quit smoking, for about 2 weeks. My timing was horrific though. The coming of the holidays and all the alcohol I consumed to make my family less annoying left me craving a real life, burn it to the filter, cigarette.

However, 3 weeks ago I purchased my first mechanical mod. I wandered into my local vape shop, unaware of the can of worms I was about to open.

After listening to the salesman contradict himself for 20 minutes I decided to wing it and I bought a stingray x clone with a patriot rda clone. Luckily the confused vape pusher offered me a free build and set me up with dual micro coils and cotton wick.

Since then I've imitated his build on my patriot clone and I've done a decent job if I don't say so. I trotted a couple different flavors of e-juice and even broke the magnets in the firing button thing at the bottom of my clone. (I got it working again but don't ask me how)

Anyway, that's my vape story. Just figured I'd introduce myself. If anyone has any advice they can offer me, please do. I know I have questions but I'll be damned if I can think of them now.

I only offer one piece of advice, and this is from personal experience, get a cig-a-like with tobacco flavoring for urges for a real smoke. I was on and off the vape wagon for a while myself until I found the right setup. I have an Innokin iTaste MVP v2.0 with NJoy refill eliquid and their Recharge kit. I still have a smoke and that is only because of the pain killers I take. Hope this helps.

Yes: pay attention to your battery.
Watch the continuous amps rating and make sure you're well within spec.

I use regulated mod's myself, and even when I use my mech I don't use it buck naked, I use a kick or my vamo5s control head.
I also got a 5pack of fuses still in the original package in my box-o-backup-stuff.

Welcome! The moderators may have an issue with the post in relation to vaping anything other than ejuice. I wouldn't want your post to get deleted.
Hoping the moderators understand that I was young, dumb and full of.. whimsy. Vaping non ejuice is no longer a part of my life. I am not a supporter of such behavior. However it is a part of my past and my journey to the world of vape. Thanks for the heads up.
