I'm telling you, never do this.

Never take off your drip tip to check the saturation levels of your cartomiser in the tank, and then test fire it, only to have a red hot ejuice glob spit directly onto your eyeball. OMFG the pain. I looked like an extra from 28 days later. Ouch. Ouch. Fuuuuu

I'm ok though. Biut just don't do it. ok?

Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!

Heh. One time I was filling something & talking on the phone at the same time. I inadvertently rubbed my eye and... Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!

Day late for you, but if anyone ever does that get to the sink and flush your eye hole repeatedly with water until the burning stops. Once you no longer feel the burning, the nic is flushed out. Then you just have that "extra from 28 days later" you will be stuck with for several hours.

if you're not meant to get it in your eye, why do the bottles come with an eye dropper?

Excellent point. Now I don't feel so bad. In any case, it is a heck of a lot better than the cigarette burns I used to get (luckily not in the eye!)

ETA: on second thought, I do remember some hot ash in the eye on occasion

Looks like they will have to start including safety glasses in starter kits.

Oh please! Don't say such a thing...I bet we see that in the future. We have such a litigious society, someone, somewhere will sue the eliquid manufacturer, the clearo/carto/rda manufacturer, the battery manufacturer and ECF for making him/her aware of vaping

been there, done that :D not nearly as painful as making mashed potatoes last year though, i opened the lid and wanted to stir some but it turned out to be a volcano that spit hot bits of potato everywhere.. including my face.

But, were you nekkid? No, really, I meant to say OUCH! I hate when that stuff happens. I know better. I really do but I can't tell you how many times I forget to let the heat dissipate before looking into a pot or the oven. Just not too bright sometimes!

Ouch...

Luckily, my parents trained me well in the art of domestic survival, like never leave the spoon in the cup when drinking coffee or do try to find out what a certain big red button does *before* pressing it ( I know, this goes against the very grain of human nature ).

But in defiance of these lessons, I do use a RDA Mini, with the drip tip removed ( yes, I take my puffs straight off, too much of a hassle to pull and re-insert the tip ) and just a smidgen of mesh , add just enough liquid to moisten it. Makes for very frequent dripping but so far, that little thingie is very well-mannered...

There are two kinds of vapors. Those who have gotten juice in their eye, and those that will get juice in their eye.

I wear glasses, you insensitive clod! :p

Jokes aside though, I've had juice splatter on my hand, it's not pleasant. Kindof reminds me of a grease bubble from frying bacon.
