if you go to a user's profile and look a little ways below the profile pic you can see how many likes a member has and has given

I'm teasing him because I cannot call him Richard. And he kinda does look like Howard the Duck in an angry evil Howard the Duck sort of way. And I think he's cool. the problem is that Richard short name is a forbidden word at ECF, Duck is not a forbidden word................. jerry told me so

Yeah but I would never call him "That forbidden word" anyway, cus I don't think he is one. Besides, I know lots of Richards that are cool. it's just another name to me. So when I choose to tease him cus I cannot call him Richard, I am not choosing to do so because I want to call him " that forbidden word".

Now if you liked my last post, you may like this one as well;

On top of being able to see how many likes a member has received and given, you can click on one on or the other to see the specifict posts that were liked...

It is something to keep in mind since new members tend to peruse the most active members profiles

Is there a way to disable notifications of "LIKES"? Getting notified of a LIKE is almost as d.... well, let's just say I don't need to be notified that someone pressed a button. Any way to disable it?

scroll down to the next to the last one...Disable Like Notifications
Select "True"
Save Changes

I went to check the settings and they were already disabled, and yet I still get the notifications. I tried resetting it - we will see.

I think I recall somebody (maybe oldsoldier?) posting recently that the disabling of that function hasn't worked since one of the prior site upgrades. I just went looking for the post and couldn't find it, though, so I might be wrong
