To anyone who can help! I'm a smoker and I've recently heard a lot about these E Cigs, but now that I go online, I see a huge, huge variety of products and jargon I don'r recognize...ATTY? What is that? I don't know where to start, but I do want to avoid the huge costs of buying the wrong products and models. I understand there is something different for everybody, but I'd like to get as many opinions I can about a good place to start and I'll go from there, based on the responses I get from experienced E Cig Smokers such as yourself!

I'm an off & on smoker..I can go days without them, but if i go to the bar and drink with my smoker friends, I can bum and smoke 10 cigs in an evening.. Though I prefer menthol, I can smoke non-menthol if that's what's around. I don't really get the crazing to smoke while at work, or while driving; it's pretty much a drinking thing for me, and I don't forsee quitting drinking anytime soon =)

What i'm looking for is the most cost-efficient, low maintenance, high 'vapor/smoke' available. I don't want to have to do any of the modifications to the product, like what I've seen in some of the forums..Just want to get it, charge it up, and smoke it, and hope that helps me quit...

Please, can someone chime in on a good suggestion? Something easy, not too expensive, and that looks like a regular cigarette? I'll probably go with the product that receives the most reviews.

I appreciate it

General opinion is that the more it looks like a real cigarette the less it is a good E-cig. Closest to an analog and still vape good would have to be the 510. I would say this is just my opinion but it's a general consensus around here. Before long Winston will be trying to make their tobacco cigarette black so it looks more like an E-cig. :D

I am actually going to suggest something that I don't have, but always wanted to try just for it's reviews......

the m401 here is a link to the subforum ..
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/m-401-402-mini-m403-super-mini/

you should get more answers there... I only know china direct suppliers, but maybe someone can chime in on us. suppliers

reasons I suggest

it is really close to looking like a cigarette... size and one of the lightest ecig models
Though the 2pc option might sound like the thing ,,, it is a bit bigger/heavier than you will expect...
AND if you don't want to maintain much the cost is conciderably higher than a 3pc... that saying that you are just using and tossing the carts.

You don't seem to be a frequent user, and it doesn't sound like you are going to branch off into the HV mod world... so that is why I recommend the m401...

I know there are other options and the 510 is a popular device and the 2pc models are growing in popularity as well, but I still say judging by your post the M401 is what you want

I use all of my models and they all serve their purpose... but I still stand by the M401 for you EVEN if I have not tried it I have seen and heard enough to know when I do purchase one I won't be disappointed.

This is my opinion... take it for what its worth.... but I can say I am not pushing something just out of "popularity" or what I think is "MY FAVE"..

Good Luck and I am sure you will be alright with what ever you choose

I pretty much went through the same thing. You can get overloaded pretty easily considering how many products and new terms, and everything.
The first thing I tried to determine is what kind of device would be best for me. After looking around I found parts of the 510s I liked, and parts of the KR8. In the end I got parts from both in my first order. The starter kit I put together ended up being 33 bucks and no shipping cost. for more info on that I have a link to it in my signature

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...uit-smoking-but-looking-something-else-4.html is my first post and got tons of good info there from the community.

I bought a disposable just to try it out and then spend a few days pouring over these forums before I put in my order for a started kit today. I ordered the M401, we'll see how it goes but based on my limited experience with the disposable and what I've read here, I think it will work out well for me.

AS for ATTY VG PG PV and all those other terms. Just hover your mouse over them.

You can count us among those who have the M401 and love it.
I tried one of the disposable 510s being sold and was not impressed. Many here like it but I found a light draw that produced sub-decent vapor and little or no throat hit. All in comparison to our 401 of course.
IMO, you can't go wrong with the M-series.
