I apologize ahead of time for being a technical stickler... (Not to be confused with a sticky tickler or anything) : Amperage. They're all 5v regulated at the port. It's like water through a pipe. If you don't push the water through hard enough, it just trickles out at the other end.

Leafords been working with the engineers on these issues, the next batch will be better, and also have a cutoff, for both the auto, and manual. Either way, we are on the case:thumbs:

I can envision failure cases where that won't address the problem. Maybe ask the engineer about a fusable link in the USB plug? Dirt cheap, commonly available at different timings, and I can't envision a failure-case where it would allow a fire to start.

I really would like to see a photo of a < 10watt device melting down an aluminum cartridge though. Can the OP post a photo please?
