Alright, only been vaping a little bit over a week now but oh my god.....

Was out with some friends and decided to try a normal cig (strictly for research, I knew I wouldn't be hooked again because I can't even stand the smell anymore.)

Anyway, I ask to take a drag of my friends cig (marb ultra light) and at first he was like noooo way man you'll get hooked again. After about 5 min of negotiating I was able to convince him it was stricly for research.

So I take a hit.... and wow. These things taste COMPLETELY foreign now. I could not even finish my full exhale before I was coughing all over the place, I've never tasted something so horrible (Well technically I guess I have lol, but not comparatively to this taste of an analog after vaping strong for a week.)

I tried it because I've heard from several people after vaping for a bit one should try an analog just to experiment to see if the vaping is really working. Boy I wish I didn't take their advice, I can still taste it! I have brushed about 3 times and my mouth still feels grody, deffinitely a mistake!

Vaping is the way, I can't believe I used to smoke 10-15 of those things a day for 6 years!

PLEASE LEARN FROM ME! DO NOT TRY AN ANALOG!

I went from smoking a bunch of camel 99 a day to maybe half an analog ultralight a day.

I just cannot manage smoking any more, I did have about half a camel regular and put it out and went back to work.
After about 10 minutes of smelling what I thought was fresh dog crap tracked into my store I asked someone "WTF who crapped their huggies?"

The answer was me and the burnt crap smell stuck in my facial hair and on my fingers.

Last week my wife and I were out shopping.
Well my batty (only brought 1) died and while I was waiting for it to recharge in my PCC I bummed a smoke from my wife (Camel Light).
3 drags and I thought I was going to puke. Literally.
It tasted so nasty, made me light headed and sick to my stomach.
I cant believe I smoked a pack of those things for over 30 years!

Even if I quit vaping I will never EVER go back to smoking cigarettes.

Yea that's how it is for me, even if I did quit vaping I would never go back to analogs. Even if by some freakish horrible occurrence, vaping lost its effect on me, I'd still move to something else like snus, I could never bring myself to go back to analogs 8-o

Been off analogs completely for almost 4 months when last week I had such a craving for one! I don't know where it came from but I knew I had to have one. So I went out and bought a pack got home and lit one up. YUCK! It really was awful and the smell was terrible. I took two more puffs then put it out. 24 hours later I could still smell it in my house. Now I have a pack laying in my drawer and I'm not tempted at all. I'll keep them there just in case I need to remind myself how yucky they are.

Its posts like these that show just how effective these things really are despite all their shortcoming! I mouthed a cigarette about 3 months in as I was in charge of lighting a drunken woman's cigarettes on the toaster and it was the yuckiest thing ever! I got the RY4 and the pink(at the time) DSE901 out pretty sharpish let me tell you!

Last week I was at a tattoo shop getting some work done when we decided to take five so the artist can grab a smoke. (She lets me vape all I want inside). Out of curiosity, I asked if I could bum a smoke from her, just to see if it would end up tasting nasty like other folks have reported. I know that second hand smoke has been very nasty to me since I started vaping, so I figured I'd take a few puffs, go "Ewww..." and put it out.

Well, that wasn't the case. In fact, it was very, very nice. Just as satisfying as I remembered. I was thinking to myself that this was a bad thing, since I'm vaping low nic and this cig felt so friggin' good to smoke.

And then, about two puffs away from finishing this thing, it hit me. I could actually feel the tightening in my chest, and my lungs felt clogged. I'd forgotten how nice it was to be able to breathe deeply. I put the cig out and considered it a good confirmation on why I should stick to vaping. It took about an hour to feel "right" again.

I may slightly raise my nic level for a while, though.

See for me I think everyone should try an analog after a bit of vaping simply because it shows you just how terrible they actually are. You got used to smoking them and smoked more and more till it was .5-2+ packs a day and then it didn't taste too bad but once you taste how bad they are after vaping for a while, at least for me it committed me to never smoking them again even if I stopped vaping I would never go back to analogs because of the awful taste.

Did you guys used to follow smokers whilst walking and enjoy the smell and then didn't after a while of vaping? I did but now I do not like the smell at all :( When on the way to work theres is always the smell of analog by the post office and today is was really strong! I finally eyeballed the analog as coming from the guy walking in front of me! A stream of nasty smoke billowing out of his hand into his slipstream so naturally I got in front and started emitting plooms of fresh mint vapor :D Payback is fun. It was only a bit longer than a year I would have clogged up the poor granny in my own slipstream!

Sadly, I don't think I would have a problem going back to analogs. I don't crave them but it probably wouldn't take much to start up again!

Same here - I am as weak as the day is long. I am still having a few real cigs (just started vaping 4 days ago) while I'm waiting for some higher-strength cartridges to arrive. Hopefully those will squash any remaining cravings.

I can't stand the taste of cigarettes anymore, but I went from Marlborough Lights to French Vanilla Coffee and Peaches & Cream vapors!

My husband only vapes menthol, so unfortunately, he seems to have no problem lighting a real one up. :( I wish I could find another flavor he likes, to get him away from menthol. Then when he lights a real one, they'd hopefully taste bad to him!
