I am wanting to start vaping to reduce or remove as much as possible all the chemicals we receive in analogs. Whilst there is a wealth of info here it is also very over whelming to the newcomer. One thing I know is I want to avoid plastic components etc, so pyrex seems the way to go rather than cartomisers, is this right? and if so what aet up seems to give good flavour and reasonable cloud ? also don't want major leak issues and difficulty refilling etc. Gish I realise most of this is subjective and I have no doubt I will build with experience, I am just a little overwhelmed with where to start. That's before I even get to looking at the least chemical enhanced juices ….. aaaaarrrrrrgggggg :)

Check out the Kanger Pro-tank 2, I got my coworker to cut back on analogs and started him with that, I ended up giving him my SS (stainless steel) nemesis clone with a nimbus clone since he started cloud chasing haha.

Btw, the Kanger pro tank 2 uses a Pyrex glass tank, a removable drip tip (mouth piece), and replaceable atomizers

Hi

Bit of confusion department: Cartomizers, almost all of them, have a steel body - not plastic. There are a handful of cartomizers that do have a clear plastic tube. There aren't a lot of them out there in the market because the plastic tube cartomizers are fragile and tend to crack and split easily where they are press fit into the end piece. The point is, if you want to avoid plastic the vast majority of cartomizers have a steel body.

If you want a glass clearomizer there are a lot of choices. The most obvious ones in the market place would be the Kanger ProTank 1 or 2, or the mini version of either one. I think Aspire also makes a glass version that uses the same coil assembly as the Kanger ProTank 1 or 2.

Take a look at Sun-Vapers.com to see the glass clearomizer options. They carry both Kanger and Aspire and are also a good source for any replacement parts you would ever need for Kanger ProTanks.

As far as what you are going to like? You just have to try and find your preference. A lot of people - not all - find they get better flavor from a cartomizer than what you get from a clearomizer. Some people find filling cartos isn't a big deal, I personally hated filling cartos. None of these options are expensive to try. At most sites you could buy a single carto to try one out for about $1.49 or less. The glass clearos will, of course, cost a lot more than that.
