Any thoughts on this yet? Looking to spend not too much for my first tube style mech and want something stainless (I react to copper and brass) with a REALLY clean design. I was looking at Nemesis clone but I hate the logo on it so hard that it makes me feel a little bummed about it. Love the design otherwise. I don't really want to spend $200+ since I just bought a REO.

This is pretty and the price point is nice for something authentic ($120). Thoughts?

Madvapes carries some logo-less clones, including nemesis.

I wish the Doomsday guys luck, although even $120 is more than I'd care to spend o a metal tube, it's still a better price point than so many others.

Aaaaah thank you. Madvapes is one site I didn't check out yet.

I was looking at that one and bought the Mad Vapor/Mad Industries Colonial instead $99 retail in all thier resellers and local Brick and Mortars. Can get a matching top cap and drip tip for an extra $35. It comes in glossy black, matte black, gunmetal gray, and army green. I know I sound like an advertisement but, that's how happy I am with it.

Besides the spring-loaded switch, I like the basic design. However, what I would want to know is why that is 6X more valuable than my $20 Gnome clone with magnatic switch (which kicks .... btw)?

the main reason why people choose to buy clones is because they are affordable. a lot of people complain that authentic mods are hard to find/too expensive/etc.

this mod is attempting to be an affordable, authentic mod. of course, $120 is a lot more than $20. it is a step in the right direction (the only problem is that they ripped MF Doom's logo).

people complain that there are no sub $100 authentic mechanical mods, but there are a few floating around.

To be perfectly honest with you, If I was gonna spend $120 on a mod I would put a few more dollars with it and just get another Reo.

I do love my REO a lot, but I am trying to cover my bases an experience a little bit of everything. Went through all the Ego type batteries in the beginning, then ProVari, then REO. I'd like a tube style mech specifically for using some non bottom fed RDAs and no regulation ;)

In two weeks there will be 3 different $24 clones of this mod on Fasttech.
"End of clones" .....roflmao

The strategy here is to create an ironic boundary which preempts the marketing of the clone--e.g. FT would have to create a listing such as "End of the Clones, Clone" and just swallow the irony.

But I agree with you, I don't think the Chinese give a rip about self-referential irony. The only thing I disagree with you about is that I see this one coming in sub $20.
