I did a double barrel in my derringer (lol it's a gun, double barrel) 26 gauge 6-7 wraps around a 2mm screwdriver. Would it be too much?

It's a bit like staring into a light bulb while firing after 2 seconds

Not this picture tho, phone camera isn't that good.

Looks very good
Thanks :)
I was looking at the coil builds thread just now, thinking of posting my two stage heater but then I don't have any pictures. Have you tried a parallel of twisted 30g and 28g single strand, 6 wraps around 2mm screwdriver, or anything similar? Man that thing made me choke on cream flavours

Sorry late replies, hadn't been here much, prepping for finals

How does it vape?

There`s only one way to know! Wick it, drip it and vape it. Ahhhhhhhhh.

It vapes pretty fine but wicking is hard to get right. Had to tuck the wick between the negative posts and positive post and let gravity does the work. Um flavour is good, but maximum is three seconds hit. Didn't chug clouds because I'm not planning to get that awkward not-burn-but-too-hot vape

That's got to be a pretty warm vape if setup for single coil airflow. Looks cool but I'm not sure I see any benefit versus a traditional dual coil build.

It's far warmer than a dual. For a dual to get that warm, it takes maybe a 4 seconds hit, this gets real warm at 2 seconds, one second hit is warmer than 22 macro (2mm 5/6 wrap diagonal setup)

The only coil that I've tried that beats the double barrel in warmth is the two stage heater.
30 gauge twisted two strands, paralleled with a 28 gauge single strand, 5/6 wraps on 1.5mm screwdriver. Wicking is also an issue because I'm using high VG mostly.

^ sorry it's 2mm screwdriver

Nah, that isn't too much. It is basically my old kanthal build for the derringer, just both coils on one side.
I run a .22 ohm ss dual coil on mine. I'd think you would want more airflow, though.

Funny thing is, I needed less airflow when I just dripped. Two open, short hits. After it dries a bit I'll need three open. Flavour is awesome at two open, just the downside is, for this build, I have to drip a LOT. It doesn't hold much juice.
