"Double Barrel" Series Nickel Coil

I'm trying to get more resistance out of my nickel coils so I can run dual. What do you think so far? Has anyone tried this configuration before and if so, do you have any tips.

Close-ups of the coil. Sorry for the pic quality. The coils in the close up pictures is 19 wraps. The one on the deck is 16.

Simply wicked straight to the deck with rayon. I thought about doing a U shaped wick but the coils are fragile and difficult to wick while on the mod.

I have done this with kanthal in aromamizer 3-post deck as it is so small.
I used u-shaped wick. The hottest spot of the coil is right there in the middle so I think it has to be covered in wick.
