How can I steal this when you're sleeping??? That is HOT looking!!!!!! I'm completely perplexed on how you got that curved in and out like that but can only imagine that being totally comfortable griping it.

Really really awesome. Seriously. Curious as to what tools you used?
Very impressive.
Can you please share the types of files you used and how model the button?
Great advice, and thank you!The files were half rounds and rounds. Pick the best size for the shapes you want. You'll use the flat side of the half round sometimes too. (really handy file)
The button was a pain in the .... to be honest. If the object you choose as your button is not the exact size as a drill bit, then you have to drill smaller and finish making it fit by hand. I wanted a relatively tight tolerance so I took a lot of time sanding the hole to size with a rolled up piece of sandpaper.
I highly recommend choosing a button with a diameter the same size of your drill bit, but if you have to finish the hole by hand, just don't get in a hurry and you can get good results.
Files and abrasive paper, only? What about all the beautiful milling?thank you for the kind words. I mostly used files and sandpaper....tried a dremmel but I had more control and progress with files. And a drill press of course for the new button.
