Double button 3.7v 5v 6v copper mod?

Would this work? Im assuming all grounds just go to the copper body

Two positive lines from whatever terminal/spacer i put in the body, leading to a "5v" switch and a "3.7/6v" switch, obviously dependant on whether im using 1 or 2 batteries. Then two lines, one from the 3.7/6 switch (green) and one from the 5v regulator to the atomizer

You should make it a mechanical switch with no wiring.

Looks like it would work but I would recommend putting a 30v 1/2 watt Zener Diode in the leg going from the voltage regulator to the atty. That way when the green button is pushed it will stop the current flow back to the voltage regulator.

Smart man. That was a good observation. I'm comming to you if I have any problems. But if he comes off the atty to the reg with the neg wire will it ground going through the reg backwards?

One would assume.... (LOL I know assumtions can get ya killed) that the body is the ground since he has it depicted being connected to the body. I would "assume" the atty is grounded to the body since he has no wire running to it. Negatting the need for the ground wire from the atty to the regulator thus isolating the regulator.

The ground wire (Center wire) on the regulator is the for the regulator to work properly, there isnt any continuity between the vout (Wire to the atty) and the ground (Center wire), so it can not act as ground wire. But I would feel safer adding in the diode to stop all back feed of electricity to the vout coming from the atty when the 6v bypass button is pushed.

Yes, since there is no ground wire to the atty I am "assuming" LOL that the atty is grounded to the case.

Wouldn't the 30 volt 1/2 watt zener drop 0.7 volts in the forward direction when running on high volts? 30 volt reverse protection is plenty. 0.7 volts drop when conducting in the forward direction at maybe 1.5 amps dissipates in excess of a watt. That will be one hot zener. With atty resistance in the circuit probably not enough to open the diode like a fuse. Just enough to fuse the junction into a non-diode. Then it won't be as hot, and you get the 5 volts back.
