So I was vaping during a break of a lunch volleyball game today and one of the girls said she could smell the vape....she said it smelled good....I guess my nose still doesn't know....at least my taste buds got better

On the other hand....I can smell a cigarette for a 10th of a mile I think....hmm....

I know exactly what you mean Maureen (hey ... mean Maureen - that rhymes!), and I never thought the smell of a cigarette would disgust me so much.

I hate the smell of cigarettes now. Also, if I walk into a really smoky room, I get an instant headache and my eyes start tearing.

french toast is the same way. and yeah in the lounge we can smell them the moment they walk in the door, ugh cigs!

I walked through a huddle of smokers yesterday after work, they were there in the wind at a speed of 75km per hour, with a temperature of 3 degrees celcius and a wind child factor of -6. They were cold and miserable and they stank. And I thought "man, did I really used to do that?????"

I do have to admit...I bought a pack two weeks ago...when I found out my nephew is in jail....i still have a few left in the pack....but I have to remember where I put it.....

I steal one of my hubby's occasionally too. I haven't completely kicked the tobacco. But i am so damned close. Down from 25 a day to 1 every 1-2 days.

One every one or two days isn't bad, but if Maureen has pretty much kicked the habit (except for the past two weeks), you can too! I bet it's hard though since your hubby still smokes. Is he interested in vaping?

That's what they all say vg...just remember it took me over a year to kick it....and like elphaba....I still have one here and there, but more like once a week....could be less....I don't really think about it like that anymore....it's not because I "need" one though and that is awesome....I still come across the want sometimes though.....

After 13 months of not smoking, I woke up the other day and wanted one bad!

But, there's none in the house and three miles to the nearest store.

So I didn't have one and the desire passed as soon as I started vaping.

I think I'm lucky that hubby wanted to try my PV right when I got it! He didn't smoke cigs though (quite before that), but he was still smoking cigars.

I also found out that some of my vapes smell bad. For instance, I no longer vape Tiramisu in the house, as he says it stinks. (Rich, coming from a smoker!). Also, I can only vape in the house when the 3 year old is asleep in his room, which is something I agree with. I dont' want him seeing either of us doing anything even vaguely resembling smoking. Although I can vape in the kitchen any time as long as the 3 year old isn't there. And as long as I don't vape Tiramisu lol.

Mind you, the other night he kissed the top of my boob and said "mmm, caramelly!" So he doesn't mind hopscotch, obviously! (it was the side I put my PV on). Sorry if that's TMI, but I thought it was funny.

I hand over my pv to hubby now to try new flavors now and then and I got him a couple of disposable, he still smokes....yeah don't like the smell either, and most flavors he likes, it's a slow process. I don't nag, since I didn't like it when others did that to me, in his own time either he wants a pv or quit all together...but have to say like TT said, 2 weeks ago I wanted one real bad, and a pack is around here, but I didn't cave. I just ordered more purecig and waited till it came in.....stalk mailperson time and vaping like crazy. Making sure I don't run out anymore, just in case, since I totally didn't expect that craving to hit since I'm over 175 days into this. go me! lol
