Still waiting for my diy stuff to come in, but I have a premixed doublemint flavor that I absolutely love, have no idea how I could reproduce it though. I am seeing alot of ppl on here talking about mixing different flavors together to produce a true "insert flavor here"

So for those of you with great diy wisdom, if you were trying to make a flavor that tasted like doublemint, or a buttermint, what would you try?

Any and all suggestions are welcome :)

The best mint flavor is always one you make yourself to your desired proportions. It's also very cheap, you can find out how here. You can also get pre-made Menthol drops - this is a thread about where you can get them. I have no idea what buttermint would taste like, but LorAnn's Butter Rum is a very popular flavor (although I hear it has more of a Butterscotch flavor). There is also a Butter flavor which I don't know much about, but like I said I don't know what buttermint is.

Was messin around with a loranns wintergreen flavor the other day. vaping it alone wintergreen has a great aftertaste, at least in a 901, 510 kinda yuk. Anyways I tried a few drops of the ole standby, butter rum, in the atty to cut it a bit and WOW. It was love at first vape. Buttermintrum, who would have thunk. Immediately mixed the blended eliquids together for a nice stash of some good vapage. Hope I don't get tired of it before my next order of butterum comes in.

so the consensus thus far is: mix in some butter rum flavor with the mint flavors and see how we like that. That is doable, although I didnt order any butter rum flavor :( yet...

As far as buttermints go, they are those pastel colored little square mints, that kind of melt in your mouth. They are like green, pink and white usually and served as after dinner mints. Love them. I have some buttermint flavor from Ms. T's, but frankly it doesnt have alot of flavor, the doublemint I have is from strictlyejuice and it is great, tastes exactly like the gum!

I am really hoping to recreate it!!

Thanks for your responses :)

I was just reading through the link posted above on menthol, I think I need to clarify, that I was not a menthol smoker, and the flavors I am looking for are not menthol, but mint flavors. After reading that link it seems there is a huge difference as I suspected. Also I understand about oils clogging up atty's, but I believe I also read that mixing the mint oils with everclear or strong vodka should emulsify (i hope that is the correct word) the oil enough to be able to use it basically harmlessly to the atty. If I am totally incorrect in these assumptions please set me straight. I do have several mint oils coming, and I am really hoping that they havent been bought in vain, not to mention financial losses hehe

Needed an extea bottle in a pinch and dumped 5ml of diy bannana creme into my new concoction. Now I have Butterbannanamintrum. LOL this is so fun and yum yum yum.
