Hi all. Just started vaping today and purchaed a Kangertech subbox Mini Kit. I purchased a couple of ejuices that are made by Outerworld. The first is Wolf 359 which has been diluted witu PG/VG and tastes great and the other is Alpha Centauri which is just the doubler. I thought I would give the Alpha a go to as i sampled it in store and enjoyed the taste but when i put my doubler in my Kanger and tried it, it had next to no taste. Why could this be as I assumed a doubler would have a stronger flavour especially compared to the cut in store sample?

hi @DeMack and welcome to the forum. Sometimes too much flavor can mute the juice. Another thing is steep. Fresh made juices benefit from a steeping, leaving them in a dark cabinet for a week or more with a shake a couple times a day for all the flavor in the juice to meld. If you decide to cut the doubler only do a small amount for test, that way you don't waste much if it just needs to steep.

Here are some links to steeping:

Good luck in your vape journey.

Hello and welcome to the forum @DeMack. Glad to have you here!:)

I have no experience with Australian juice. Have you tried emailing Outerworld?
I have not contacted them as of yet due to only starting today and didn't want to hassle them with the issue just in case it was something easily fixed by steeping etc. If i have no luck with the steep and then a cut then i will definately contact them. Thankyou for your reply

^^^

Some flavors are fine in normal strengths. Doubling up on those flavors can result in less, not more flavor.
Ok cool. I only got the doubler due to the fact that i will mix it with nic once i can get some delivered to Australia but thought i would try it anyway. Just a learning curve i guess. It is good to know that just because it is a doubler doesn't mean it will have more strength. Cheers for the reply mate

I just remembered something I read on here. TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK. One of the forum members was ordering his juice "doubled" or with the max number of flavor shots and twice the nicotine that he would normally vape. Then when he got his juice he would split it into two parts, and then add VG to the juice to double the amount he had, effectively cutting the nicotine in half to what he normally vaped.

EDIT: If you do try this I would suggest trying a small amount first.

when your doubling, your actually going to CHANGE the flavor profile. I make my own juices and everything is calculated down to precise percentages to achieve a specific flavor profile. Doubling changes those percentages and creates a whole NEW flavor profile. I hope this info helps a bit. Best wishes to you.
