I'm fairly new at this, and by reading some posts, I think I just realized that I may not be using my doubler's to their true potential. I purchased some doublers and have mixed them with unflavored nicotine. Is the idea that I should be mixing doublers with nicotine that is flavored identical to the doubler, (or in another flavor if I want a blend)?

Since my first doubler experience was Atomic Cinnamon, I did not notice any loss of flavor, but I have also mixed irish creme, pralines and cream and almond horn with unflavored nicotine and still seem to have good flavor. But since I am still so new at this, I may not realize what I am missing.

Plan to order tasty finger and cheesecake soon, but will probably buy just the nic juice in these to make sure I like them enough to want some doublers as well. But, would love some feedback on this question.

BTW - Its amazing how I have enough e-liquid to currently get me by for probably 3 months (I'm guessing), but I can't stop buying new flavors as I read about how good they are.... I am hoping I will soon realize what my favorites are so that I can slow down on the spending soon. But, I must admit that its fun!

The idea of the doublers is to mix the like flavors together to get more bang for your buck. For example, when you find one you like buy that flavor in 1ox nic at 48mg then mix with the doubler to get it down to the nic you want. Depending on the doubler you get either the 2oz or 4 oz.

Right now I'm not into premeasuring as I'm coming down from 36 mg, I think I'm down to 16-18 mg don't know since I eyeball it. I'm at very low nic because I'm waiting for AC to go on sale I have 1/2 bottle of 1oz and a small amount left on my 4oz so I'm trying to conserve. I do have about 7 other bottles of various flavors but my daily vape is AC and the Tobacco/Menthol.

Thanks so much for your response. It makes sense.... Yes, the AC is amazing, but its one that I just get a desire for occasionally. I have a co-worker that is new to vaping as well, and we switch off purchasing 4 oz. doublers and larger bottles of nic juices and split it with each other while we are trying out new flavors. It is strange, I was never a menthol smoker (aside from a little in high school 100 years ago), but I do like the fresh cool flavors out of the e-cigs. I'm tempted to buy some menthol to put into some of my other flavors just to get a little of that "cool" sensation.

I haven't bought any since September because I'm so overstocked and most of it is TV. A large part of that is because I dropped the strength I vape at. What was purchased as 1 ounce to be vaped at 24mg is now 4 ounces at 6mg. I'm vaping by date now -- trying to use the older ones first.

One thing that helps is doing a lot of mixing on my own. I have raspberry doubler that tastes as good with peppermint e-liquid as it does with the Bavarian creme, the waffle or added to just about any cheesecake. Apple pie is great with vanilla custard or on it's own. My custom Fluffernutter doubler (basically peanut butter and marshmallow) is great for cutting the nicotine in the banana cream pie. Basically, if two flavors go together in the real world, they'll vape well together. Just mix a couple of milliliters to test it before committing a whole bottle.
