I've only been vaping for two days. I have not smoked in 25 years but missed the romance part of it, with coffee, after sex, after dinner and while driving. I bought mostly flavored cartridges with 0mg of Nicotine. I also bought one with a low dose 6mg to see what it felt like. I enjoy the 0mg the same as the 6mg. Smoking is just so social and relaxing especially now we can do it with no stink or crappy ashtray mouth or cancer. If you are interested I say "go for it!" You can always quit later!
Peace:thumbs:

I just wanted to give a bit of my small experience here.
I received my VP today (joye 510).
Since then, I didn't feel the need to smoke analogs!
I ordered some 24mg liquid, and yes you get the nicotine.
This thing is amazing!
And even if (I say IF) they find something thats unhealthy in ecigs, it would never be worst than analogs.

Every second message I read hear speaks of the Joye510, this must be very popular.

I ordered my set today, but with the 18mg as was recommended to me.
With it being Easter weekend I think my shipment will arrive next week.

This has been a very educational experience and one of the best groups I have encountered in a long long time. That's the thing with smokers/vapors, they're such a social bunch.

My thanks to everyone.

got a question for you guys who know everything about this. A couple talked about disposebles and they were cheapest way to try it. but then they jumped on to usb pass threw things, I would like to try a disposeble, any suggestion where I could find one and which one would best?

you know there's actually a 510 disposable now. I saw it (maybe on cignot? not sure) the kit is $10 with 3 carts to try it. I'm thinking of getting a few to hand out to smokers I care about.

I think there are two trains of thought on disposables: some folks (most of us) just KNOW you're going to love it so why waste the money on something that your supposed to throw away soon enough. Other folks still remember the apprehensive feeling that's involved in giving these things a try - I remember ordering my 510 about three weeks ago and thinking to myself, "if this thing doesn't work you just wasted a bundle of cash" I still have half a box of Nicoderm patches unused in my bedside table - my second try on them this year. So I guess it's really up to you; if tossing $10-$30 bucks out the window to just try something for a few days is comfortable for you than do that for the peace of mind, but you can get a genuine, not-disposable, 510 no-box starter kit from cignot for $35 shipped and not have to throw it away in a few days too. Whichever is easiest for you.

BBJ, they mentioned passthru as its the cheapest way to power the ecig (instead of having a battery and charging unit) then they meant buy some disposables to complete it to be a ecig. Disposables are atomizer and cartridge. Even cheaper yet is buy the passthru and 5-pack of cartomizers which have built-in attomizer.

20-30.00 person could have several days or week of vaping. Very good route to test an ecig.

I did quite a bit of research myself and was satisfied that e-cigs posed much less of a risk than tobacco cigarettes, and I had tried virtually every other method in the past tweny years to quit. With the e-cig I was able completely eliminate cigarettes in a few days.

The real test of harmfulness came from my wife. She has been buggin me to quit smoking for years and after I started vaping she was bugging me about that, too. On her own she started collecting information about how harmful they were. After a few days came to me and told me that she really couldn't find much negative about them that wasn't refuted by cold, hard evidence. If a naysayer can't find proof that they're harmful, that's enough for me.

I didn't read the responses you got, I'm sure you got lots of very informative long replys. But to throw in my 2 cents, I had heard about the e cig for a couple years before i saw one in real life and didn't really think much about it until I actually got to try one. I was amazed frankly, bought ordered a kit from happyvaper.com like 4 days later.

You can gather all the advice that's available in this forum, and I'll say that most folks here would never intentionally lead you astray. You have to listen to your own inner voice though and do what you believe is best. Trying e-ciggies won't kill you, and all you'd be out is a couple of bucks for the experience.......(how about some of the new disposables?). Good luck!

Having tried most everything else, I figured what did I have to lose and, if it did work, what did I have to gain. . .the patch didn't work, Chantex made me awful sick and depressed, Wellbutrin was as bad, hypnosis was a joke etc. etc. . .all were more expensive than a starter kit of the electronic cigarette. Within two days of receiving my first electronic cigarette, I put down the tobacco cigarette and have not picked it back up . .over three months and counting. . .:)

I don't know about everyone else Chanel but I just quit smoking today after a week of weening myself off of analogs. My person recommendation would be, and please someone stop me if you disagree, is go to Vapor4Life-Because it's your life - E-Cigarettes/Smoking Alternatives . Get the automatic ultimate ultimatum for 90$, them go to 10ml bottle of Red & White flavor e-Liquid for Marlboro reds flavor( i love it, exact match) and do alot of youtube research on filling cartomizers. Also, because we love you, you can go to Electronic Cigarette Coupon Code Master List - Electronic Cigarette Forum for additional saveings after you get comfortable with your e cig knowledge. So from one noobie to another, welcome and Happy vaping. And stay away from smoking everywhere AT ALL COSTS. Please check in if you have any concerns.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who responded to this topic. I never expected to get so many responses and people to be so positive.

I placed my order today and will probably receive it tomorrow or next week.
I'm very much looking forward to it.

I still have smokes in the house, but I'm hoping not having to buy new ones anymore. I can hardly believe that I, a die hard smoker, am gonna give up the cigarettes.

Where Did u buy from? We're glad your trying E cigs. It took me a week to quit fully. I heard after a few months of vaping you'll eventually gag at the smell or even taste of real cigs. That sounds hypocritical, and you will be stared at in restaurants or where ever you go. We are the new age of smokers. We are above those who refuse to tr and quit or even acknowledge us. We will live, while they die off. Its sad to watch my mother continue to smoke and roll her eyes at me as I walk by vaping. If we forge on, the cigarette companies will die, the tobacco companies will still grow their plants and my kids will have a dad who can actually run a father son race instead of quitting half way through. A terrible childhood memory of mine. SO thank you for talking with us and I hope you join the fight to save the lives of millions. Through education and conversions.
