► Dovpo Vimizi Pod Kit; How it is made:
The form factor that Dovpo has chosen for Vimizi is the classic rectangular one, the dimensions are really compact, the body is thin and the frame is made almost entirely of solid metal. The device is easy to hide and extremely handy, however the kit includes a collar to further facilitate the transport of Vimizi.
For this test I received the "Black - Geisha" version with a really nice and eye-catching design on both sides. The covers can be flipped to show the black side outwards. This is a very useful prerogative for not ruining the drawing especially during work or the heaviest commitments during the day. For removing the covers there is a small notch on each side which will allow you to insert a fingernail and remove them. Both panels are held in place by fairly strong magnets that require a bit of effort to pull out, so you don't have to worry about the panels accidentally detaching.
The USB-C charging port is located on the bottom of the device along with the Dovpo name and logo. The small 800mah battery can be recharged in less than an hour which is a relatively short time.
On one of the two narrow sides there is the LED light which sends notifications on the functioning of Vimizi both during use and during the battery recharging phase. While charging, the light stays on until the battery is fully charged and then turns off. During use, the LED indications on the charge level are as follows:
• Green: Charge level equal to or greater than 3.85V
• Yellow: Charge level between 3.85V and 3.65V
• Red: Charge level at or below 3.65V
On the top of the device is the compartment for placing the cartridge. On the bottom of the compartment there are; two contacts, two magnets to hold the cartridge solidly and the sensor for automatic extraction.
The side opposite to that of the LED light houses the button/slider for adjusting the air flow. The key is made of metal and has a well braked travel therefore it maintains the set position. By pressing the down button you can increase the airflow until you get a fairly open flow. By pressing the key up you can get a really good airflow restriction for MTL type vaping.

The kit includes two rechargeable cartridges with integrated coils, one of 0.6 and one of 0.8Ω. The aerodynamic "duckbill" form factor is currently the most fashionable but also the most comfortable to hold between the lips, the dark color of the PCTG cartridge does not interfere with the correct visualization of the liquid present inside the cartridge. Refilling takes place laterally by lifting the classic silicone rubber, so you can insert up to 3ml of eliquid.
Dovpo was kind enough to also send me two packs of cartridges, one of 0.6 and one of 0.8Ω. Each package contains two cartridges and they
are the same ones that you can buy as a spare for your new Vimizi.
► Dovpo Vimizi Pod Kit; Vape test and final conclusions:
For this test I used one of my favorite liquids "Too Puft" VG/PG 50:50 with 3mg/ml of boost. Both Vimizi cartridges feature a high-strength ceramic coil for longer life, plus they provide a pretty smooth and spit-free draw. The mouthfeel is full of flavor with satisfying vapor production. One of the distinguishing features of Vimizi Pod Kit is its adjustable airflow system. This allows users to control the amount of air flowing through the cartridge to have a significant impact on the strength of the MTL draw. The cartridge is leak-proof and easy to refill making this device suitable for vapers of all levels.
