Asking if anyone has experiences with both the eCAB and eGo-C. I'm thinking of downsizing as I like the smaller size, and think the redesigned tank may cure what made me switch from standard to LR atty's with the eGo-C. Also may regret the battery life or type A tank size, but might be worth it for the slimmer lighter design. I hate tinkering, mods, stardusts, etc., so the proprietary threads is just fine with me. Thoughts?

A review done by PBusardo on the eCab did not yield very good results review here. Would also recommend a few good tanks and cartomisers that you can punch yourself but as you stated you dont want to "mod". For me the Stardust and Vivi Nova's just work better and less tinkering than tanks and carto's.
I have/am using both. The eCab sits between a 510 and an eGo C. It does has its place in a vaping arsenal and performs really well. There are 2 downsides to the eCab. The 10440 battery and the proprietary threads. Now, to many this may seem a let down from Joyetech but forums represent only 10% of the vaping population and there are a slew of individuals that do not like big honking mods. Proof in the pudding folks would be very surprise to find out the amount of eGo vapers that were tooting on an eGo at Vapestock. Yes there were mods galore ect... but the eGo had a stronger presence than I anticipated, considering it was a vaping convention.
The 10440 battery cannot support LR vaping and hence why it lost popularity over the up-coming 18650 in the day. Then again that was comparing apples and oranges. If one is looking for a discreet classy PV that can support 3.5-4 hrs between charges, then yes it is a good device, especially with the ladies with an evening purse
or even men at a fancy venue.
IMHO folks need not compare what works for them to suit their vaping style and quash a device "in general" because it doesn't fit their lifestyle or vaping style. OP asked for an opinion from someone who has vaped both. BTW it is a great device to take to the movies or dinner

. So, is the vapor output comparable to using the standard type a atty, or does the airflow redesign make up for this? My issue with the type A standard was having to take twice as long of a drag for similar results from a low resistance type b setup on my ego-c. Thanks for the info!
I take a 4-5 sec pull and get plenty of satisfaction even at 6mg. Hope that helps

Thanks Kent. I hate the way Joyetech piece meals stuff together lately, but it is good to see the adapter for folks who were on the fence. HG should have them available soon since they are Joyetech's #1 supplier after TW.
I have an ego C A-tank style, and I actually love it. Pretty close to dripping in my opinion, and I get decent life out of my 650s. Two fully charged 650s will last me all day. The tanks, however are a tad too small, and the caps, silicon or hard, seem to always eventually leak. I've actually found I've had better luck with the hard, stock caps on the tanks.
The atomizers also seem to clog pretty easily, and will burn out fast if you hit them dry too often. But when they work, they work very well and provide a good amount of vapor and flavor. Again, closest to dripping I've had, but without the fuss.
I've recently started using 2.4ml tanks (iVape's 'Sunfire') and have really loved it. I think that these tanks on a Twist will be pretty popular, as heads are cheap and the fill-and-forget functionality is what a lot of people want.

Yeah.... it may help sales - still no lr but I've moved away from lr since the c's. I still hate the 10440 batt
But, it would be nice to have a decent pv that accepts non-proprietary batteries for worst case scenarios. I didn't care for the e-power or the eGo-mod with the 18650. The 'no eGo' with the 14500 was the best idea but it had quality problems last I checked. Anyway, people can run their favorite boges on the eCab now
If one power vapes the c's you can get them to leak with less than a 1/4 tank. I split my vaping up so I'm not having that problem. I agree with you on the c's being next to dripping for flavor and vapor and I'm also liking the CC's (heaven gifts name for the sunfires you're trying). SOME ejuices have better flavor on those over the eGo-c but not a big jump. And some of my standard flavors still do better on the eGo-c. But I'm doubling up all flavors on the c's and the CC's just for more taste testing. One can get the CC's/sunfire/stardusts to leak as well, but they seem to be less likely even in heavy vaping. I use to take two eGo-c's out with me, now I'm taking one of each
