I've determined that living is bad for your health! Everything we breath, eat, or drink is bad in some way. And heaven help us if we have to take any medications! The side effect disclaimers take longer than the actual ad for the medication on the tv commercials. We all know that cigarettes kill. vaping may not be perfectly safe, but it's a far sight better than the cancer sticks. As for me, I was concerned about diketones, but finally broke down and got some CLS and CB. I've read these reports, and it's still a far sight less risk than the amount I ingested smoking 1+ packs a day, and before, in my younger, indestructible days, up to 3 packs. I'll just go with it, try it, and if I like it, I'll keep getting it.

Amen P! My dearly departed Pop used to joke that " Since everything is bad for us, I want to try a little bit of everything before I go." I can still see and hear him saying this. In the end, the 3 packs a day, finally caught up to him. I don't think he ever got to try everything but he did enjoy his fair share. Its been almost 11 years and I still miss that man everyday.

I just don't care - I mean maybe that's not conveying what I mean exactly...I do care what I put into my body and it's good to know what's in the liquid. But, that said I don't care about this. Were it not for vaping I'd be smoking. I'll take 1 or 2 chemicals IN LESS QUANTITY THAN IN A CIG over thousands of bad chemicals. If I'm safer with a non-custard juice without these ingredients, great cause I vape both, not like I'm getting these in every single hit I take off a vape anyway. Never had the option of choosing my chemicals in a cig.

Playing devils advocate here....

So Clark. Do you guys have any indication of the amounts of DA/AP that may exist in your flavorings? It seems like the information that Dr. F et al. uncovered was largely a surprise. It was generally understood (by me, FWIW) that butters and custards were the primary culprits but the general feeling I got from the study were more widespread.

I'm currently addicted to H1N1 and was just wondering if that must end up as a suspect.

But also....just want to fully disclose that I went into this with a full understanding that it was to reduce (not eliminate) harm and that even the butteriest, craemiest, butters would represent that reduction over analogues.

We have this disclosure on H1N1...

*Nicoticket LLC is committed to ensuring our "family" - past, present, and prospective - understands the inhalation risks associated with vaping specific types of flavors. This liquid does *not* contain Diacetyl, but it *does* contain trace amounts of Acetoin, Acytyl Propionyl; or both. Comparatively speaking, levels are significantly lower than what might be found in a custard based eLiquid, but - we believe even trace amounts should be disclosed. Potential users are advised that there may be reason for pause due to an absence of longitudinal research which can provide adequate guidance with regard to the relative safety of inhaling eLiquid containing diketones. As with all eLiquid regardless of the types of flavoring used, the user accepts the all liability and risk associated with vaping. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SAFE VAPING. Purchase and subsequent use of this product is governed by our Terms & Conditions of Use. Please review the terms before purchasing or using this or any product from this website.

...and this disclosure on all the products that contain custard notes...

*Nicoticket LLC is committed to ensuring our "family" - past, present, and prospective - understand the inhalation risks associated with vaping specific types of flavors. All liquid containing "custard notes" from ALL VENDORS (including Nicoticket LLC) contain some combination of Diacetyl, Acetoin, and/or Acytyl Propionyl (collectively known as "diketones"). This liquid does *not* contain Diacetyl, but it *does* contain Acetoin, Acytyl Propionyl; or both. It is *impossible* to produce the "rich, creamy, decadent, full-mouth experience" in eLiquid without diketones. Such is life - everything that tastes good is bad for you.
