I got this really interesting cotton recently called Drago. This stuff sort of has a yellowish color to it and in fact still has cotton seeds because its completely unprocessed. Which is really cool almost like it was just picked from the field :)

But wondering will this cotton work alright in tanks?...because my uncle who gave this to me only uses drippers, and everything I've found on Drago online has been people using this cotton in RDAs

Dont think it can compete with Rayon in terms of just sheer volume of cloud or longevity but its very intriguing. A lot better than KGD Japanese cotton etc I would say.

I currently use Rayon and really am enjoying its performance and how long each wick lasts... I do know the Egyptian is extremely absorbent as well, dont know if its as absorbent as Rayon but its very interesting wicking option for sure.

So let me know what you think or if you have experience with Egyptian cotton....

Thanks

It's cotton. The only atomizers I can think of were cotton canNOT be used is a few Geni tanks. I'd boil it. If for no other reason you don't know what chemicals were used on it when grown and harvested. I find all cotton wicks better when boiled and dried. Don't get a seed IN the coil. They don't taste good when cooked. As with all forms of cotton including rayon, there is a bit of a learning curve. As to how much is too much or too little. Only thing different I noticed when I tried raw cotton. (directly off a plant) Is it tastes different, when you dry hit off it. Otherwise, cotton is cotton.

I use regular Walmart cotton balls. They are cheap, I know the cotton is clean and "safe".
