KGD works good, but rayon is much better in all my trials - more flavor and longevity in my experience, I went back and forth for several weeks and the difference was obvious. Get an even piece, pack as much into the coil as you can and you're good.

Do you have a link to where you got your Rayon?

Do you have a link to where you got your Rayon?

These two will work:
40 ft for $10: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00PBGJT5A/ref=dp_olp_new_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=new
500 ft for $15: Graham Sanek CelluCotton 100% Cotton Coil

And then there's this other one listed on sallys website which is possbily the best deal... 500 ft for $11.49, but I'm not sure about it because the box says "100% rayon" but the description says "Pure Cotton". Considering there is a cellucotton version that is just cotton I think they might have the wrong pic uploaded and this one is in fact just cotton, would make sense since it's cheaper -maybe someone can chime in.

Yep this is the only rayon I have used and it's great. Unfortunately there seems to be some confusion even with the vendors selling it between whether they are selling cotton or rayon, but those first two links make it clear that it is grahams 100% rayon.

Yeah... That is why I like to go with something that Someone says they have Used.

I'll have to pick some up. I'm happy with Muji Cotton. But never afraid to try something New.

Any Hot Tips or Special Tech you can suggest to someone who wants to use this Rayon with High VG?

Those first two links is definitely the right stuff I will tell you that, you can always email the vendor and ask them to double check it or go to to the actual sallys store pick it up in person, if you have one nearby.

There is a huge rayon thread I would check out if I were you but I will say a couple things if you've never used it before. Rayon has a slight break in period, you will notice a slightly nutty flavor for the first few draws. Also rayon wicks better to your coil but doesn't sponge or expand like cotton does, you need to pack your coils with it super tight. I use one hand to hold my coil in place while I wick it, otherwise I would break the coil off - slide the rayon back and forth till I get a good equal "puff" on either side and it is very tight in the coil. I actually believe rayon wicking is easier than cotton once you understand this, less guesswork. All my liquids are 70%-90% vg and I get no dry hits. I know some people have compared rayon and kgd and said there's no flavor difference frankly I don't know how anyone has come to that conclusion as it is plainly obvious to me that rayon wicks deliver much better flavor, but even if you find that to be true it still lasts longer and doesn't burn like cotton does.

Thanks Dioxyde.

The "pack your coils with it super tight" does seem somewhat Counter-Intuitive, but once again, I like try things that people have Actually Done. Verses what I Think should work based on a Different type of Wicking Material.

I just Ordered some. So hopefully about this time Next Week I can chime in and post how things are going.

Thanks again for the Help/Info.

It is indeed counter intuitive, so much so that my first few tries I ended up with flooding and dry coil hits because I couldn't believe it was really supposed to be as tight as it is. Happy to help let us know how it goes and check out the main rayon thread as well.

at high power... 60+ watts i prefer any kind of cotton but mostly use ... pads, i find it easier and quicker to wick coils with cotton than rayon or anything else, i sometimes mix flavours on the same wick which for me over time starts to mute similar flavours, a quick change of cotton wick and bamb we'r back in business. i'm not saying i dont like rayon, i still use it from time to time and has its place for sure. to me, cotton is a juice holder and rayon a transporter, maybe i should incorperate both together in the same atty but then it would take me quite a bit longer to rewick

Listen to Dioxyde. He speaks the truth. Previous cotton users tend to struggle somewhat when beginning to use rayon because less is not more with rayon. In fact, it's quite the opposite.

Yeah... My Rayon arrived Yesterday. I can tell just by the Feel of it that it is Very Different. It has a "Shinny" feel to it if that makes sense. I picture Very smooth fibers that do Not snag against each other much.

I was also a bit surprised as how fragile it is. With Japanese Cotton pads, I can pull on it (in One Direction) and it will pretty much stay Intact. I'm sure it will take a Few tries to find a good Tech to Wicking with Rayon.

BTW - I like that you Posted the 2 images of that Cellucotton. I know I have been Confused as to what Exactly people are buying when they say they are using Rayon.
