Yeah. It kicks the clouds but not enough flavor for me. Looking for a good build for flavor (and I want to keep my clouds if possible :) ). One thing I do like about the nano-coils is that they do not heat up my unit. Warm, yes. Hot, no. I like that. Plus it doesn't suck all my power like the coils in your second photo. 2nd photo coils = high, lingering heat and battery drain.

Your nanos, how do you like to wick them? ...if you don't mind.

I have to agree...the clouds are awesome but the flavor is less. I did notice that it affected the sweet flavors more though. My fruity menthol flavors still tasted pretty good.

As for wicking, that's a .4 ohm build so I started with the standard cotton wrap but ended up doing just a nice cotton bed underneath and behind. Leaving the top of the coils exposed seemed to enhance the flavor and clouds were still...awesome.

As for the micro-coil build...yup she gets warm. Running at .5 ohm but with the Cyclone air flow control the vape is stellar. I'm using MNKE 18650s and they do drain faster but still last me most of the day (and I vape a LOT).

I noticed when I make my cotton bed that when it's over, it's over. I mean when the juice dries up, and it dries up quick, it's gone. And burning begins fully and suddenly. I don't like that because I don't like opening up and looking in all the time and I travel all day so I can't have an overflow making a mess. I found if I make a very very thin wick strand from my cloud (or bed) and run it through the coil, I get more of a heads-up on when it's time to drop some more juice. It doesn't seem to affect the density of my clouds to do that. Other than that, yes, I build a fluffy cloud under and around and just slightly over one end of the coil.

Update: you are right about the fruits. I tried my tobacco flavors and found they are quite nice with "the dragon".

Oh, also, obviously you like your ... is it a REO? What can you say about it? (Like if you wanted to sell me on it) does it come with its own dripper atty?

This is what I use and I'm happy with it, but I've been eyeballing the REO lately.

I too wanted flavor with vapor. So I landed on a quad twist 30g kanthal nano coil (safety pin). Warm, cloudy, and good flavor.

But I wanted more flavor... so I just made this last night. Again, warm vape, but tons of flavor. I call it The Tinman's Dragon. .8 ribbon with 9 wraps on a 3/32 bit and a twisted 28g kanthal 9 wrap nano. Tinman delivers the flavor, dragon delivers the vapor. I initially thought it was a failure because the Tinman wasn't glowing red on dry burns. My finger told a different story when I went to touch the Tinman.

I use a drill and bobby pin. I place the bobby pin inside the drill with the loop end out. Then I loop my wire in the bobby pin and hold the other end with pliers. I pull on the wire firmly as I start to drill at medium speed. I keep drilling it until it either breaks off on its own or gets nice and twisted tight.

Well, if you're looking for super crazy sub-ohm builds with a .00001 voltage drop then the Reo probably isn't for you (although Rob is coming out with a sub-ohm kit soon).

However, if you're looking for something that provides the flavor of dripping with the convenience of a tank, doesn't leak, is pocket friendly, and comes with great customer service then you might consider one. You mentioned traveling and not having overflow making a mess...that's right up the Reo's ally.

I use mine for my ADV and my Magneto for dedicated dripping and trying out new builds (although the Reo does just fine if you want to drip a new flavor now and again). I have a Provari and some of Zen's creations and I've barely touched them since I got my Reo. And I haven't purchased another mod since (except two more Reos).

It doesn't come with an atty but I highly recommend the Reomizer 2.0 if you decide to purchase.

Really like the look of the one on the right. The atomizer is called Reomizer 2.0? What do they hold for batteries 18650s?
