I buy quite a bit from ECBlends and I generally like their juice. On my 1st order I received a sample of Dragons Blood so I tried it. It did taste of fruit & cream (which I like) but there is a bitter or acrid component to it that tastes bad to me. This stuff gets rave reviews so I figured I may have gotten a bad sample. Undaunted, on my latest order I included a 10 ml bottle of Dream (orange based) and Tears (strawberry based) - with the same results. Yes, I taste the fruit & cream but both also have the bitter/acrid taste/aftertaste which is not pleasant at all. Again, this stuff gets rave reviews and has a fan following - is it just me?

No, the juice definitely has a bite to it. I would describe it as sort of an acidic, sour flavor with a slight bitter undertone. It's sweet, but not like a desert, more like a tart/sourish fruit.

However, that's one of the things I like best about it. Flavor and taste is very subjective. Something that tastes wonderful to one person, might not taste that great to another. To put it in perspective, I drink my coffee black, and I love it that way. I enjoy somewhat bitter flavors, and/or sour flavors. I don't really care for super sweet things most of the time.

Dragon's Blood is my all day vape. I order that stuff by the fl oz, not ml lol. But hey, like I said, it's subjective. I mean just ask a bunch of people what their favorite food is, you'll get a bunch of different responses. That's why I don't buy based on reviews. I get a small size and test it out for myself. Reviews, regarding things like taste, can be misleading without being untrue or even bias.

Hmmmm. I don't get any bitter/acrid taste from it at all on either Dragon's Blood or Dragon's Tear. I'm using 12mg. What nic strength are you using.

I found the 12mg doesn't give me enough of a throat hit, so I've got a bottle of 18mg Dragon's Blood on the way. Should be here today. When I get to vape it tonight, I'll let you know if that one has any bitterness to it.

Mine is 18mg. It was not a nicotine peppery taste, it's almost a "burning carto" aftertaste. Ah well, I can always give it away at some point but I think I'll just let it age for a month or so and try it again...

It would be nice if they offered the extra sweetener option with these juices, it might help get it just right:)

ECblend does offer all different kinds of options, including extra sweetener. I personally haven't noticed a bitter taste with ECblend juices, but I know where you are coming from NGIB. I have had juice from vendors that most people seem to like where there was some component to all of the juices that I didn't care for.

Yes, I know they do, but for the Dragon's Blood it is not an option;)

I just checked again, and it is on the tear, but not the blood nor the dream.
