length looks fine but if its on a mech it might take to long to heat up but compressing it might help that, with the TOBH its hand to get a good center build for airflow with the tabs but that looks pretty good. I would put it on your mod and heat it up, let off the switch, then compress the coils lightly with some tweezers. repeat that a few times.

tear off what you need, roll the end small and tight (so you can get the thread started easier), then roll the rest a little bit but not to much, you want it fluffy enough that the juice can flow, and pull it through so it is snug but not tight. you dont want t to move the coil when you pull on it

sleeper builds are hard. I didnt notice much of a difference on the ones that I did just look longer and made me angry. manly the are used for super sub ohm with low gauge wire because you cant fit 2 or 4 wires through the post holes

yep it's all about wicking and fiber properties. though wrapping consistent solid builds is assumed with that statement. And every fiber has different characteristics and properties, so that every thing one up grades or change type of fibers, must relearn once again:D Have done some dragon builds, but most of mine went Vertical, and most of me horizontal built rba's aren't dragon capable.

Always comes down to "play with it" till it vapes right. With tank systems one deals with both densities through, under or around the coils and the density of the wick through the wick port, or on juice deck....... wicking issues can occur from either or both. It's all about supply and demand:D

The way I went about it I usef half of sn unfolded cotton ball. Fluffed it out the kinda rolled it together. With the coil facing me I put the cotton under the coil and pulled it towards me. Then wrapped it up and back over. Took the tail of it and used it to "block" the back of the opposite coil. Same for the other side. Im realising that it may be the wraps. Taking to long to heat up. Im thinking that I should use parallel 24 with a 7/8 or 8/9 wrap. Might come out to to low though. I just need to play with it more.[emoji2]

Half of a cotton ball is WAY too much wick... :) If you were to unroll it, cut it in half (across long side) then pull MAYBE a 1/4 piece off on one that should be MORE than enough for one coil...

Ok. It seemed to much. Is it possible its getting smothered? Also should I leave both ends open?

It's not so much smothered as it is the wicking... When cotton is compressed it becomes less ....... wickable? It doesn't wick as much or as fast... As for leaving one end open or not, it's completely up to you... I find, at least in my atomic (which is the only thing I've tried dragon coils in) that it performs better with both ends open... But I also think that's because when I do so, the air holes on either side line up perfectly with the end of the coil... so air is forced directly through the coil.. In your atty it might be completely different... Try both and see what works best... That's half the fun!

Ok update on my build. I re did the coils with 10 wraps of 26 gauge. Then re wicked it like in the video and its soooo much better. Came out right at .51 ohms. Damn near perfect.
