Menthol varies a lot. Most of it tastes like mint and is weak. The Totally Wicked menthol is very strong, and tastes more like a real menthol cig.

If your looking for an ecig with a long cig-like draw from tobacco flavored juice, the 510 may be better for you.

For my experience, look here:

Considerations for choosing an ecig

The SE unit is an RN4081. I have several (I don't use them any more, but they still work fine). Personal experience with them resulted in dripping a couple of drops and that improved both vapor production and the amount of effort you have to put in to get a decent drag. You can also block one of the vent holes as you draw, which helps quite a bit (there's a video somewhere on here and youtube about it). A couple of drops on the atty will give you one or two analog's worth of vaping, which isn't bad for such a small device, and for me at least, was more convenient than refilling those tiny carts.

I am new here, and to the forum. I purchased that npro njoy at a local gas station, and have learned enough to know that it’s cheaper to use the juice. I don’t think my unit works right.. I have a lot of people who are interested in switching over. I was thinking of hosting a vape party! lol.. but My unit just doesn’t work well. It seems like there is very little smoke, and the batteries are always dead. What is up? Is there a better model out there to use? I am thinking that a manual one would be better. I have heard people talk about those?? please help a girl out!

I purchased a A Smoking Everywhere e-cig and am disappointed in the amount of smoke and how difficult it is to get a decent draw. Is it normal to have to inhale ALOT to get a decent hit?
One problem with automatic batteries is learning how to get them working for you.

The trick is to learn how to draw on it hard enough to get it lit.
And then how to continue to draw to keep it lit as long as possible.

Have you tried practicing in front of a mirror and watching the LED on the battery?

I draw slowly but directly into my lungs. This method produces the most throat hit and vapors for me. But it requires an auto-batt with a light draw. One with a hard draw will make me all dizzy from sucking too hard. I use Vapor King and generic KR808D-1 e-cigs. I ended up drilling the existing holes to make them bigger for more airflow (easier draw).

The 4081 is a small device, and the cartridge does not last very long without topping off or refilling.

Things that cause low vapor production...

  • Dry cartridge
  • Dying battery
  • Dying atomizer
  • Flooded atomizer
  • Drawing too often so the atomizer cannot draw enough liquid from the cartridge fast enough

Also, review your instruction manual. Some batteries cut off when you take too many draws over a short period of time. If the battery has programmed 'wait state', you may not be able to get a draw until the battery has automatically reset back to a 'normal state'.

Direct inhale? I cannot think how that would work.

When I used to smoke, I draw into mouth and then inhale. It took me a little bit of practice to do the direct inhale to lungs. My e-cig has a really light draw (almost like sucking thru a straw) if I use it like a regular cig (draw into mouth/then lungs). But this light draw is perfect for when direct inhaling to lungs. At least for me anyways...

I spoke menthol and for the most part the taste is fine. I am tired of getting dizzy from drawing on it though. LOL Any suggestions...

You need a 510! Put the other away for emergency situations only.

I'm guessing you really didn't mean to include "flooded atomizer", as that usually enhances my vapor (at the possible expense of a battery) :)

Anyway, thanks. This post was very helpful. Will an RN4081 stay on in an attempt to burn juice out of the battery hole? Sure seems like it does.

Thanks,
Dave

How did you do this exactly?
