Draw too tight KFL+

just got my KFL+ ehpro clone...cleaned it, built it with a 1.1 ohm single micro coil...easy build. the problem i'm having is that i find the draw to be too tight and the vape to be too warm

any suggestions on remedies? air control is completely removed for max air flow, but its still too tight.

Take a close look at all the "holes" in your KFL+ and make sure there isn't a little shaving or something stuck someplace. Just an idea.

yeah...put a paper clip through all the holes making sure there isn't anything blocking it

Take out the center post pin (note this will probably ruin your current build) and see if there's anything in the airhole installed there.

You might also want to consider a different drip tip. The stock one is notoriously tight. A longer one would also help with the heat issue.

needle-nose pliers clamped on the positive terminal block and the biggest flathead you can fit into the bottom head of the center screw.

what spins? If you're turning the hollow center screw it should turn the positive block, cuz that's what it directly screws into.

the block unscrews but the pin won't back out...stays in place

I bought a ehpro kfl a couple months ago. It doesn't have afc and the draw was way too tight.. pretty much unvapable. There was no blockage that I could see.. just the air hole was super tiny, way smaller than my real ones.

I drilled my air hole. Now it's perfect. In fact.. out of all my other svoemesto kfs.. the clone is the one that has never once given my a burnt or dry hit lol. The draw is still a bit tighter than my real ones, which accounts for the better wicking.. but it's fine now.

I too have an EHpro kfl+ has an airflow adjuster screw on bottom. Mine works great, but I've heard others removing the screw to increase.

Ok. Sounds like the insulator around the positive pin is just well wedged in. You should be able to push the screw down from the top. There isn't anything that it's threaded to once the positive block is off. Maybe tap it a few times with yer pliers.

And when you get that center pin out ... You just might find some of the insulator plastic in the side hole like the clone I had before:
