Was hoping to have a few more as well, but only 1 new door is ready to put up today. I really like this one; ink on aluminum. Looks like petrified wood. For sale now at Dready's Mod Spa

So today I got in something special, and now my Wakonda rig is complete. I don't think any pics of this have been posted yet so I have the honor of introducing one of Dreadys pieces for the first time! I am completely unable to capture this in photo, but I tried. When I posted last week about wanting a matching derringer top cap for my Wakonda door, I got a PM...turns out something was already in the works that would look great with my door! So excuse me, I'm a bit teary eyed, for this mod is like my child...irreplaceable. The kind of thing I want to leave at home, yet cannot leave home without...

Ooo, is that a Brad cap on it too?!? I very seriously considered keeping this combo for myself. Had the Derringer cap 95% finished for a month prior, knowing if I finished it I'd have to decide and knew deep down I'd probably sell it.
Never regret it, though, when they end up in the hands of someone who loves them even more.
Now you, too, can appreciate how hard it is to photograph these things! Being web based, my biz depends on it; its sometimes the hardest part of the whole process.

Brother it's a pair made in heaven and I feel very fortunate to have acquired it from you. I can see very much so wanting to keep it for yourself, and all I really know to say is thank you. This really means a lot to me. The synergy of the juice, mod, atty and custom Dready top cap and door is just ridiculous - I'm really attached to this in a way I can't explain. Not normally materialistic but I'll be guarding this and protecting this as best I can in hopes of having it forever. My other mods rock - but this is my treasure I never knew I had coming. Your work is amazing.

It is a Brads Cap and I was hesitant to use it since it covers up part of the beauty of your work. But I had to do it, and I'm glad I love it because I'm literally afraid to remove it - it's so tight on there I might damage the cap if I did, lmao :) it looks crazy cool.

That's the coolest door I've ever seen! Looks like an agate.
Will you be doing more derringer top caps? Send-ins?

I'm not currently doing any send-ins as I'm using the time, instead, to make inprovements on my property in order to gain a proper shop. That and other factors have limited the time I have currently to work on stuff. I can get way more done in the little time I have by doing small batches of things, and to be honest, the time I get has been sporadic enough that it's hard to get a proper sense of turnaround time right now.

Hoping to be up to fully operational in the new space by the end of May.

That said, the "1:1" Derringer caps I ordered are not even close to fitting. First two I did were authentic, but both sold already. They do fit the clone I got along with them, so I may do an atty that comes with 2 patina caps as well. Not sure yet, but if someone wanted that I'd do it for cheap, as they'd (likely) still need to send it Tom for BFing if that's what it would be for.
