My greeny/bluey door (I call it "Under the Sea") came last week, well, I got to see it Thurs pm. Thank you Mark! Looks great. I'll get some pix up Monday I hope. It looks great on the TRA with a Roscoe button. The Springtime door has moved to the Black Wrinkle, it really seems to bring out more of the green in it and of course a Roscoe button there too. I am lovin' these Reos.

Do you think I should give it another clear coat? The CV is prepped to be done and I could do it at the same time if you think I should. I am not trying to be a hog, but the CV is going to need a door and there are 2 good candidates still on the site. I know she or he who hesitates is lost.

Those Peko's look great! Is that a CH Lancia? with the short glass. I have one of those but am having a bit of an oring issue with it at the moment. Think I need another 16mm 1.5 th to make it fit better.

Have a great weekend all!

Hey AP, glad you are liking it! I would NOT clear coat it again when you do your CV. Nothing to be gained as it's got plenty already. Worst you'll do though is cloud the finish, or add streaks, or bubbles... Ya, I wouldn't ;) And those doors you're looking at have been up long enough, grab as many as you like. ;)

That is a CH Lancia, but it's the clear plastic it originally came with. I just sanded it down -3mm because a like the look... and extra flavor. I've never had an issue with the o-rings, fortunately.

Time really doesn't mean much. How many ml of juice and what's the battery's voltage when you pull it? :)

Very true. For the first time I have quite a few bf's going at the same time and it feels quite indulgent, in a good way. But I have not yet noticed enough v drop yet to want to swap it out, but I've only gone through about 4ml so far on a .4 coil. The squonk is a bit stiff, bottle the primary culprit, so I don't think I've been taking as dense of hits either. For me, the 26650 is a hope I can have a bf with enough juice and battery to go all day. I hate having to carry that extra battery every time I'm out for a while.

I got there with the gDNA, the 40 in particular. I can reliably drain a 6ml bottle on single 18650. Caveats: I typically run 17.5 watts and use a 2900 mAh 10A Panny battery. The DNA30 doesn't get me quite as much from the same battery -- close, but not quite. Anyway, that's enough for me for all day, but if I'm gone somewhere "all day", I always take a backup anyway.

On an 18650 mech (PeKo, REO, or sibi-sumpin) I typically want a new battery after 3-4 ml. But I'm not sure how comparable that is since I use VTC5s in my mechs.

I've heard one person say he's getting 12-15 ml out of a battery on the 26650 PeKo? That sounds too good to be true.

PeKos are pretty easy. gDNAs are quite a bit harder because you have to solder all those wires to the board and to the things they go to.
Solder huh?

Let's talk more about those Pekos though

No soldering on the Pekos then? What's the most difficult part of putting the Peko together?

Yes, you can build a PeKo w/o soldering. I don't build 'em that way personally, but that's how they were designed. :D
So you solder on the Peko too, just it isn't required?

Besides piecing the parts together, is there painting or finishes involved, or can you order them in the finish you want? I'm just wondering, if it's something I can see myself doing without much headache.

What's it cost for all the necessary parts for a DNA40 version (including the cost of the chip)? Is there a range dependable on any factors?

Sorry, gotta ask while I have your attention, haha

I've looked into this a bit myself. While I can't personally get into on this thread, I'm convinced on these prints and will be selling some Dready Pekos. I'm not, however, going to get involved with any regulated devices at this time.

I believe there will be more interest, here, in fully assembled mods. If I am wrong in that, please speak up. Once I do a run of these I may be open to send in, custom ones, but not at this point.

I think you are correct. Most people would be interested in fully assembled mods. I would be very interested in a Dready PeKo

So you're thinking of selling assembled mech versions, painted with that wood look? I'd be in for at least one 18650 version, maybe even a 26650.

While I may be able to cobble together a non-regulated Peko, I still don't fully trust myself.

OK, Mark....no clear coat. Just wondered cause I would be in the mode. Pretty good with the rattle can. I would probably be in for a Dready Peko 18650 :)

My CH Lancia has the -3mm Spectrum tank, but just needs another fatter oring on the bottom, getting it sorted out. Haven't built it yet. The stock plastic tank looks great polished.

Alright, I'm glad to see there's some interest in the Pekos! It will be a little while before I have the time and funds to do many., but we can start small.

I have 2 18650s en route that I'll do right away. But in the meantime, I might sell one of these26650s. If you want one just let me know in the thread or send me a pm.

If you're interested in building them yourself, you really should head for the threads devoted to that topic:

I'm thinking a fully assembled, Dready Peko will be just north of the price of a Reo...

if sent a nuppin' AFC ring (and maybe SS drip tip) could they be matched to the peko and what would pricing be?

also pricing on polished Grand and same treatment on door, AFC and drip tip? (i would be willing to purchase and ship/drop ship or purchase outright... whatever your pleasure)

and ETA... wifey's b-day is fast approaching... though, i do have other plans in store. so it won't be a rush or necessity.

Hey beckdg, don't know how I missed this! Lets get a pm going between us to discuss. I'll put a quote together today and send to you :)
