Hey guys! I am a brand new vaper dedicated to the fight of giving up analogs for good. I tried Blu Cigs first (worst $80 ever spent!), then went right back to analogs for several months. Around the beginning of April I got the njoy starter kit. Slightly better vapor and MUCH better taste than the Blu cartos, but I felt it was still lacking in vapor production and it was getting costly. After finding these forums, I'm happy to say that I found the perfect pv for me - the KGO! I initially started off with some Boge LR cartos, but those weren't working out for me too well. I hated the constant filling I had to do to avoid the burning taste. I had one bad day where I went back to analogs, but now after buying some Stardust tanks, I seem to have found the best method of juice delivery for me. Aside from that one bad day on Friday, I have not used analogs in a week! Which brings me to my dream...

Last night I dreamt that I caved in and had an analog. I felt so much shame for going back to them, even just one cigarette. My question is to all who have used pv's to quit smoking, have any of you had similar dreams? Is it part of the process of breaking the addiction? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Dreams, nightmares, cold and hot sweats, depression, the works....Be strong, be brave, it is all between your ears and once you fully trust you can kick the nasty habit however long it takes and you are determined .... the right path is taken and no return to stinkies will happen if you keep convincing yourself...It WILL become your FIRST nature!

:vapor: on!

Those dreams are the worst!!!!!! I had them every single time I've quit, except this go around. I'd always wake up crying in shame :) I think it happens to a lot of people..... Ive been lucky this time since the dreams are gone, but I do feel a little miffed, I don't even get to vape in my dreams.

My mother had been having the smoking dreams to, but called me recently and said that she just started vaping in her dreams. She was so pleased, She just hit her 1 year mark last month.

I just think it is telling about our addiction, but they will pass, maybe you'll start vaping in your dreams soon. Good luck!

I actually didn't have dreams smoking a real cigarette. I didn't start dreaming about cigs until I got my Lavatube and got into all the different juices...... Then, for a few nights, I dreamed of ordering and getting juice shipments and trying all the different flavors! Now, THAT was weird..... It has now subsided but it really freaked me out a bit. I was dreaming about spending money on juices instead of real cigis.... LOL!

One of the main reasons why it's hard to kick the habit is because we've grown used to looking forward to having a cigarette after our morning coffee, during breaks, etc. How about dreaming you didn't have one in an entire day? And so one solution is to use some mental calisthenics and try not to look forward to them. I was determined to quit with or without e-cigs. And so I planned every day ahead at bed time by targeting specifically those cravings, ie, tomorrow I imagine myself not having a smoke after coffee, after meal, etc. So that when that time comes, it wouldn't be as difficult. It's hard, but if you care enough about your health...

Strange as though it may sound, I've always heard that this is a common symptom of quitting analogs. I've quit twice now, and never had that happen personally, though I typically don't dream/remember dreaming much anyway.

I know a lot of people on here quit for a while with vaping, then end up smoking an analog or two at some point in the process. Seems to me like many of them become extremely disheartened or shameful of this, or at least that's my impression from reading the threads. I've always thought that seems a bit silly personally. I mean, if someone goes from being a PAD smoker to smoking 1-2 analogs a day that is a *serious* improvement. Even more so if they have 1 or 2 after vaping for a week. I personally vaped for about 4 months (no analogs at all), and fell off the wagon somewhat and began mixing vaping and analogs for over a year. There were days when I would smoke and entire pack, and there were days when I would only smoke 3-4. Coming from being a 2pad+ smoker though, I didn't focus on the 4 analogs I'd smoke in a day; I focused on the 36 I *didn't* smoke. I think a lot of people (including smokers) often underestimate the addictions associated with cigarettes (and I don't just mean nicotine). For many, once they start vaping they are immediately done with cigarettes for good. For many others though, it's not that simple. It often takes quite a while to fully break the habbit, and as far as I'm concerned any progress is a good thing.

That became a bit of a narrative, but that's just something that's been on my mind lately.
