I know I had really weird vivid strangely surrealistic dreams for about the first 6 months after I quit. It finally stopped happening.
Since I've been vaping, my dreams haven't been affected. Not in any way I can tell. (Yet...)
But several months after I developed nerve damage in my neck and left shoulder, I began having dreams that are both vivid (intense, memorable) and lucid. I know I'm dreaming within the dream, and therefore can do anything I want. I can change anything I want within the dream. Think "Inception", except without the subconscious tearing everything apart.
It's been this way for seven years, now. And let me tell you from seven years of experience ... it's good to be a god.
(And no, this isn't one of my usual whimsical posts. Around half of the dreams I remember are, indeed, lucid.)
