Last night, after dinner (after almost 3 months analog free) I wanted a cigarette. I dont know why, but I sure grabbed my pv and vaped the heck out of it. Then I go to bed last night and had a dream about smoking an analog. I remember feeling horrible afterward, but it tasted so good.

Woke up this morning and I remember that dream like it was real. (also has something to do with the meds I am on, very vivid dreams).

Is it because its been 3 months, which I have heard is usually when people fail?

I am wondering if maybe I had the dream and wanted a cigarette after dinner because I had lowered my nic yesterday. I cut it in half, down to like 6, I think it was. Just because I got a new flavor that needed something and I added flavor doubler to it. I vape all different nic levels, from 24 to 0, just depends on what flavor I want that day.

The vividness of the dream, I am sure, is because of the medications I am on. One of the side effects of one is vivid dreams

yeah, you may have cut your nic too fast, or too soon. I'd go back to the higher level and then start to alternate 12 mg with 6mgs after about a week ... have 12 mg in the morning and switch to 6mg evenings for at least a week before you try to switch completely ... or get some 10mg and go down in smaller steps. Take it slow, you want this change to stick!

I found after meals I wanted a cig during the first couple months too .. then upped my nic for those after meal vapes, and vaped a tobacco liquid, that really helped cure the cravings. (Normally I vape sweets and fruits, the only time I use tobacco is when I crave a stinkie)

Don't beat yourself up over it, perfectly normal!

Just saw you vape all different strengths ... maybe 6 is just too low to go, especially if you have been vaping 24 often!
