dried flakey stuff on drip tips?

Oh God. Getting nauseous, but I am glad it just doesn't happen to me! It creeps me out when I am in public. Would hate to have a stranger trying to get a closer look at my rig and there are potato chips coming off of my drip tip. Might give people the wrong idea! I wash my drip tip in every sink I come across when I am out and about!

rofl I'm OCD about washing my hands everytime I get e-liquid on them. Which resulted in really dry skin on my hands. So now it's wash hands, apply lotion, get ejuice on hands, repeat process.

Remind me to NEVER use someone else's drip tips at vape meets--I'll be sure to bring my own spare mings for sampling other people's e-liquids or trying out their attys.

There must be some REALLY bad hygiene practices among vapers for this to even be topic.

I wash my drip tips in HOT water and swab them out with pipe cleaners every time I fill a tank, or clean an RBA.

But some of you dirty hippies must NEVER let soap, water, or alcohol touch your gear. Man, I'd hate to see some of your laundry.

I have birds, so I am really leery about getting juice on my hands. Even with A&D ointment my hands still feel dry from so much washing. Waitressing doesn't help.

Have you ever heard the joke about the bear and the rabbit? Innyhoo, it is dried saliva, a fact of life. I wash my laundry in soap and water, thank you. My hubby is the hippie in my house!

yea we don't have a dishwasher so I have to handwash everything. so between that and constant handwashing my hands get really dry


and I use soap, it just happens to be patchouli scented

I try to make it a practice to stow my drip tips in my arm pits when I am not using them.
And when I AM using my arm pits I spritz them with grain alcohol and vinegar to keep them well oiled.

Always have cue tips for swabbing insides. It just tastes better when everything is kept up. And that post about the washing hands a lot and apply cream, vape and wipe cream off battery. That's what I love about vaping, cannot put a condom over a cigarette. I used to cringe when someone would ask me for a drag off of my cigarette, I would just give them the rest. They would always offer it back. I didn't get that.

For those of you who have dry hands, and don't like the taste of most commercial moisturizers, try a hemp-based hand cream. It absorbs VERY readily, is GREAT for your skin, and doesn't have that chemical taste or smell that some lotions have.

I am a printer and bookbinder, so I handle dirty antique lead, zinc and brass type all day, and have to ALSO handle some very old, valuable books, so I wash my hands a couple dozen times a day just when I'm at work. I SWEAR by this stuff. I'm 47, have been a printer for 20 years and use nasty chemicals and strong soaps and solvents every day, and my hands are as soft as a baby...
