So the other day i got my igo and immediately grabbed my drill. I should have looked at the bits closer, and probably should have had my contacts in when i did it. But i trusted my math skills which usually never let me down. I drilled out 2 3/32 instead of 1/16 which is what i wanted. Now i have a dripper that is way too airy for my likes. I'm running dual micros with cotton but i just don't like it. I can get another one and have a do over but I'm thinking also of getting a piece of aluminum or steel that will fit snug enough around the top cap and let me adjust the airflow manually. Anyone have any ideas? I want to like my dripper but when I'm home from work my aga goes on because i just really don't like it. And I'm also not really sure i like cotton that much more than silica if it all and thinking of possibly running a ss on it instead

That sucks dude. I drilled mine out slightly larger than I wanted, but just got used to it. I've read that some people with fill in the hole by jamming a toothpick (or something similar) in the airhole and making new holes. I didn't really like the thought of having broken toothpicks in my atty.

I hate to say it, dude, but if you really can't get used to it, I'd say order a new one. Who knows, maybe you'll get into lung hits and want to make the holes even bigger.

A website called Trianglevape sells igo w top caps with 1.2mm airholes (replacement) for 5$. It's in their accessories section. Buying that would give you an Igo W with 2 different vape styles. They also have IGO w's on sale right now for the rootin tootin low price of 10$. Plus I can personally vouch for this site, they have great service.

Cap it all vapes makes some nice caps for the igo's and other attys. They have variable sizes as well so you can have a 22mm igo-w if you want. I did exactly what you did with my igo-w AND nimbus. Drilled them both out too large. At first I hated it but I finally got used to doing only lung hits and it became second nature.

A quick and easy way that I learned from another post is to simply cover 1/2 or more of the holes with a small piece of scotch tape.
May not be pretty, but it works.

Silver duct tape....stronger than Scotch tape, and a bit more camouflage...:D
When drilling air holes...ALWAYS follow the Carpenter's Rule:
"Measure TWICE...cut (drill) ONCE!!":D
Happy (vaping) Trails!
