I never thought of that (back to some version of sanity here), enlarging the air hole on a Ti cap has got to be a beech unless you got a machine shop.

I've done my rm2's chalice's And Era's all holdin in my hand with a cordless drill. If your not certain about doing that I'd not recomend it :D

Pdibby is certainly capable of drilling out air holes & then some, he was talking about Ti. Still though Ti is not that hard as one might think as long as you drill with the proper speed & feed, well for a small short airhole anyway. Try deep drilling Ti on a lathe, now that I hate!

With these you can make the air hole any size you want.
Made mine a little larger on the RM's but still smaller then 1/16
Used them on a stainless ERA also,, :)

I'm going to get to the meat. I love this idea, I love you bringing it to my attention.

I will order these shorter than shortly.

Any advice/tips/tricks on using these???

Thank you.

Stock is 3/64" I drilled out to 1/16" and it was to airy and whistled, but the only way I found out that 3/64" was it for me was to do it. So I just used some tape and covered some of the hole on the 1/16" one. Good Luck.

I did the same thing to my Hornet, 1/16 was too airy after drilling out. Put some JB weld on the inside to cover hole then redrilled it with smaller airhole.
