Drilling out the vivi head slots for cotton, what process works best for you?

Would like to try a cotton wick on one of these heads, have had some luck with silica rebuilds already.

Some YT vids out there are showing enlarged holes on the slots of the vivi head for better wicking with cotton.

I was thinking dremel+ cone bit to slowly bore it out (I have the parts). Would you suggest anything different?

I drilled one, didn't use it enough to see any advantage of the trouble.

The dremel would work fine. Just hold that sucker with a set of grips, not your fingers.

I used a small file but dont see why a dremmel cone bit wouldnt work,careful not to go too far, it will leak, too little and wont wick well,cotton is the way to go

at the 19 minute mark, he just bends it with a screwdriver. He says he cuts notches from the rubber sleeve that goes onto the head to allow more juice to flow. He says he torques the head wider so that the rubber cap stays snug and won't spin around when the tank's top is screwed on and possibly change where the slots are, but torquing the head wider allows for a bigger wick and more juice flow too.

But, really, I'd suggest a bottom coil rebuildable instead of vivi nova.
