I found a Beer pairing thread, but I am more of a Whiskey guy with a HEAVY emphasis on Scotch (Not Islays though).

If you understood that, awesome, should be a good thread. Sadly I haven't done much with pairing up a juice to my favorite Scotch yet, but I did find something last week that needs to be shared.

You need to try this Belgian Cocoa E-liquid | Halo Cigs with this Double Chocolate Bourbon

That is all...

First things first, you don't want to pair a juice with a drink of a similar profile--that would be a wash and would not result in any one flavor being accentuated. If you want the color red to stick out or to be complemented, don't put it up against another red! You want to give the scotch something to bounce off of and it will have to be strong enough to cut through.

For the sake of this post, I am not going to begin trying to differentiate geographic definitions of socth or whiskey, or the particulars in the drink itself. What I can say about those drink flavors in general is they go good with foods that you may not want to vape. Gouda eliquid anyone? What about steak juice? I don't think so, at least not for me.

Your best bet would be to pair a scotch with something non-food related. Cigar anyone? Yeah, that sounds more like it. Now, where to get said cigar? I would check out W2V/Vapenstein Blends in their premium tobacco juices for pairing up with scotch. Those juices are made from the real thing and may just about blow your mind at how well the juices act like the real thing.

Oh not necessarily. You don't know how subtle the chocolate is in the Pritchard's. It works, believe me. But yes, as a general rule I agree.

Yes, taking a note or two out from one side of the pair and exploiting it with the other is one thing, but vaping a coffee juice with your coffee is the phenomenon I was advising against--I never could understand that. So, if the scotch has subtle notes of chocolate, by all means exploit that with a juice that has some, or is a chocolate juice--it'll most likely work and bring out those notes. I had HighBrow's RY4 which has notes of chocolate and it went well with red wines, however I did n.o.t like that juice on its own.

I agree with what you are saying. I do love my Vanilla Cream vape with my coffee. It is just perfect and compliments it.
