Ok. I'm sitting here catching up on some tv and having a few beers. I'm still working on the nasty carts that came with my njoy Npro (I'm actually kinda getting used to them  --for shame!) and they really aren't doing the trick. I'm smoking analogs right now because the Njoy just doesn't have enough kick/throat hit to balance out the beer. Or it could be that I am more than half way through the cartridge and its power is waning.

I'm wondering now if the vanilla juice I ordered won't get me there, though I did order 24mg. I used to smoke vanilla analogs when I drank and was good to go with them. But now I went from Marlboro to Poospatuck reservation specials like King Mountains and Senecas. I'm thinking I should order up some tobacco juice next week.

Anyone else have ideas?

I haven't used an Njoy, but I have a more generic suggestion: if you have the willpower to do it, try going a few days without puffing on either your e-cig or analogs. Then, when you start with the e-cig, you won't have the comparison between the two so fresh in your mind. Just a thought, since it worked very well for my wife.

Oh, to dream the impossible dream. :smokie:

But like my virtue, I lost my willpower long ago.

I also started with an NPro, the juice tasted awful, but I still managed to never put another cigarette in my mouth after day one! I used Seneca Light 100's for years, 2-3 packs a day.
I did also go with 24mg/ml juice, found it much more comfortable and satisfying than 16mg., but I stuck with a good tobacco flavor. I did and still do love my tobacco! Johnson Creek Original was my favorite, now I make my own. That's a whole 'nother subject!
Good luck!

Thanks!

After a while, the Njoy juice was making me nauseous (it was the taste/smell). The first day, I was able to push through for 7-8 hours without an analog and then I broke. I've been reading good things about JC's tobacco juices, I'll give them a try. I'm already looking forward to making my own juices after reading and watching videos here.

I really am excited to be vaping. I had just started reading about it last Saturday (11th) and couldn't wait to get my first e-cig that I jumped the gun and bought the Njoy at 7-11. It's not a bad experience, but it has been a learning one. I'm just one of those people who had to have it yesterday.

Hi and welcome to ECF. Now that you know it could actually work for you consider a decent starter kit. You'll get many good recommendations from the people here. I'd suggest a 510 personally or, if you can afford it, an eGo or something with a larger battery. If you're by a computer a lot look at a PT (passthrough) too, it'll save wear on your batteries. The 510 gives decent TH (throat hit), the eGo is a bit better. And, post any questions you may have and you'll get an answer usually within a few minutes.

a strong 36mg menthol got me off analogs while i drank. now that im in the groove im down to 18mg juice. i wasnt a menthol lover at all, its just that the USA mix i got didnt do it for me at first. menthol seemed to give me more of a throat hit resembling an analog while i drank. try it, might just work. worse case senario you get hooked to menthol juice and quit tobacco lol

I know that feeling! But you have the Njoy to use until you decide to change kits so at least you won't be doing without a PV. In the meantime if it's a vanilla tobacco that you want, you could try FreedomSmokeUSA... They have several different tobacco juices and will add a "splash" of your choice of flavor to it for free.

Hope that helps :)

The only way I could kick analogs was go with 36mg Vanilla Bean 100% VG. Massive vapor, not harsh, and I don't care about the "throat hit" factor. Nothing is the same as an analog....but the vapor + high nicotine gave me what I needed to lay down the analogs for good. I keep my last 1/2 pack of Marlboro on my patio to remind me but have no desire to pick one up. I don't vape tobacco juice anymore because I don't want to use something that reminds me of what I'm getting away from.

From 36, I ordered 24 and 12. Now, when I need a big nicofix, I still grab the 36.

Progress.....one small step at a time.

I really love my NPro, it's still in my purse all the time. But I did get tired of the small carts, so went to an 801 Janty Stick. Batteries way cheaper and more realiable, and it doesn't roll onto the floor all the time.
DIY is the way to go, give yourself a little time for "try me" flavors and find your optimum density of nic. Get the old crawling cigarette urges off your back first, and then go for it. ECF is known for it's highly diverse and talented DIY experts! if you need help. I do a VG version of the "old" Johnson Creek Original (before they stopped using real tobacco flavors), it's my only juice, and my formula is down pat and great fun! (also a very expensive undertaking with tools, R&D supplies, HazMat placards, and highly intensive learning curve, but well worth the effort if you love a challenge doing things "from scratch"!)
Best of Luck!

Been there. simply put get a strong tobacco flavor when you are kicking back some cold ones. I personally like 555 but if that's not strong enough then get a Marlboro or a Winston flavor. Trust me give it some time and all of a sudden you may prefer something like a Orange cycle with your brew-sky. But at the beginning it's best to go tobacco with a Bud :)
