drinking & vaping

oh my it is not a good combo- for one I keep spilling juice on my fingers....
and two, I can't taste it AT ALL.. like at all. sucks. Anybody else have this problem or am I using really weak flavored juice? Maybe the vodka killed my tastebuds? this will suck if it is always like this, as my weak point is drinking and smoking cigarettes, and this just isn't doing it for me tonight.

ah man, all I have is the 18 mg juices. Oh well.. it's not like I can mess up and go back to regular cigarettes because I don't have any, but man it sucks not being able to taste anything

I guess you could always buy some flavoring and make some extra strong tasting juice for those times. Just remember which bottles you've dosed up or you might regret it when you're not drinking.

lol...you sound so much like me! I wrote a post a bit ago about trying to drunk-proof my e-cig. Best things I can tell you are: pre-fill some carts so you don't have to mess with juice, and try menthol flavoring. They'll taste a lot stronger to you all night and prevent that tasteless cotton mouth thing that makes me want a smoke when I'm out drinking. Good luck!

i usually stick with a 24mg strong flavor that you usually wouldnt think of as an ex smoker
example pineapple or strawberry you just gotta look for the stronger flavors
i did have a mishap earlier this week though i was carrying a new 10ml bottle of strawberry around to fill my cart on my 901 magnum mod only im using 3.7v at 2.7ah so it lasts me all day, anyways i went outside with a friend so she could smoke and we were drinking at my girlfriends house so me drunk i refilled my cart and set the bottle on the table outside and accidentally left it out there all night and into the morning it mustve sat in direct sun for at least 5 hours i grabbed it and immediatly stuck it in the freezer still tastes the same and still have the same throat hit as for getting juice on me hasnt happend yet

I go out to the bars on a fairly regular basis and vape whilst drinking every time. So far I haven't had a problem with not being able to taste the juice...I use 36mg cut to 18 @ 50% VG or PG (depending on my whim that evening).

Might just be the juice you're using?

Even the blank ones come with little rubber caps (cart condoms). Just fill them up, put the little cap back over them, and they are ready to go whenever you need them.

you can also use a vacuum sealer if you have one. Just don't go nuts on the vacuum because you'll draw all the juice out.

Speaking of vaping and drinking, has anyone yet found the perfect flavor juice to have with beer? I like my coconut and vanilla with mixed drinks, but beer just seems to require something with more oomph...

mmm I'm curious now too... now that I can have different flavors vs same ol analog flavor.. I need to find one to compliment a beer!

btw I'm watermelon & rebull-ing it and does nothing for the vodka.. lol

When I'm doing 12 ounce curls I like something strong and nasty like a nice 36mg TW m/boro or a hilton...or camel...

Something that reminds me of the days sitting at the bar smoking.

Well, my weak point is also smoking when I drink. But you have to consider that when you drink allot you actually dont taste cigarrettes anymore as well.Thats why someone smokes so much when they drink.

Today I actually got a beer while Vaping and the alcohol made it better. Alcohol cuts nicotine so your problem is the nic level. I vaped a Johnsons creek 24 mg juice and it tastes very good. Its actually to strong when you are not drinking but when you drink its ok. Its also regular tabaco flavor so its strong.

I suppose its all on the nic level and flavor, if you are drinking you probably need stronger taste and nic levels. And yes, fill up those carts before. I would not drip or refill when I drink it would be a complete mess.

My opinion is that beginner vapers (like me) will always be in trouble when drinking. It will take probably at least 5-6 months to get used to it and be prepared for the night

I'd say to get some 36mg. as well for these times. The only one I have is coffee which is reserved for mornings and I can say that the coffee flavor does NOT taste good with beer. 8-o

Hello Portland, Seattle here!!

I love beer...mostly stouts and Guinness is my favorite. I like the tobacco flavors with Guinness...WetYourStick has a great one!!!

I drink mostly Guinness and I totally enjoy vaping! I use 6-11mg.

Take note that vaping is and never will be the same experience as smoking analogs.

I have not vaped with Grey Goose yet so I cannot speak on that. ;-)
