Drip Caps Question

Do I need to put the regular cap on the larger flavor concentrate bottles or can I leave the drip cap on it. They are stored upright. I’m not sure if these would let flavor molecules out or air in. Thanks

You can leave the drip cap on. Just make sure it's closed.

Yes, bottle caps on for storage.
Try to limit exposure to air, heat and light.

Yeah I’m not either “Elmer’s glue squirt bottle style cap” maybe? It’s probably got some industry name like “the shutzenwinkle stopper” or some such. Anyway those things do make a positive air seal when they’re in good condition and I doubt very much that you’re going to chew on the end like I did in grade school to get the dried glue off so simply screwing them down should be fine.

I never tried to chew a paste pot open myself that I can remember. It did have a nice bouquet though with a smooth nutty finish

The original bottle cap/top I usually throw away.

Yep you can keep those on. It shouldn't cause any issues. I tend to leave the regular cap on, but I have a couple HUGE flavors where it's just easier to replace it with a "leave on" twist cap etc. They should seal just fine for keeping your flavors more or less airtight.
