hello, first post here and looking for advice. i currently use a itaste mvp 2.0 as my daily. i picked up an omega clone drip tank for a deal and looking to start a build. wanting to keep it to a size that can fit in a mag lite belt holster i figure ill recycle an ego x6 1300mah. im thinking that it i bypass the circuit board, eliminating the vv aspect it would allow me to run straight off the battery at maximum voltage. ive seen many things modded into a vape battery ( most unusual so far was a taser)

other than having some difficulty separating the thing im wondering if im on point so far.

would like to add that im perfectly happy with my kanger protank 3 with aero base(i have 5) and mvp battery, just taking on yet another project lol. thanks for any input.

I think most batteries used in ego style mods are unprotected so be careful if you do this. Im pretty new to vaping so I could be wrong but i believe this to be the case

Welcome to the forum! My feeling is that bypassing the circuitry is essentially turning your regulated device into a non-regulated one; why not just get a mech mod instead? I'm sure you'll find a veritable ton of choices that would fit the size category.

Doesn't sound safe. Don't know the amp limit of the Ego battery, and I'm sure it's not safe chemistry.

Ah, ok. I wasn't aware that being non regulated was an issue. I have a few friends that use unregulated set ups daily.

And I ordered a mechanical mod earlier but I'd still like to continue this as a project
