In the earlier days with the 510 sized drippers, they could only hold a drop or two, and were about 10mm diameter;
but today with 22mm sized 'drippers' with deep juice wells, they hold a whole lot more that a few drops.
Probably more apt to call them squirters now

Well the Biig D. Rocks, have the Authentic by Sub Ohm Innovations, and the clone "out for delivery" so will be in Vape Box when I wake up, and for me it's my Thursday time for bed, last post before dice leaves the building.
The Big D. out vapes the pontus, which has some serious issues, some more than others depending on the qc gods. While ,;lkawa[g';/j
frak off Spot, sorry about that, Spot says it's bed time, ... where was I, The Big D. is a much more simple and elegant design, but is a tad tricky to fill but once mastered is well worth a new way. or something like that. Big Dripper Dripping Tank, is a full metal jacket tanked dripper, with juice injection, so those that got to see their bloody juice, probably a deal breaker.
Personally, if something doesn't come full metal jacket, will shy away from it. I like tanks that don't crack from juices, and are Spontaneity, Sampson, Issis, Bea and Fae resistant. Tanks should be built like tanks. other wise isn't it really a jar, or a bowl with a drip tip, or something like that.?????

Dang, dice57, you made the 1st batch. I'm on the 2nd batch. Can't wait until it gets here.
yeah thee who hesitates has to wait longer or something like that!! just took the clone apart, is almost a purrfect 1:1 clone. Only thing different is the vent hole slots on the build base are slightly off from the Authentic, which could make mounting coils a bit more of a pain, but everything else looks fantastic. Won't have time to breakdown and build before work, but looking good, very nice. The Big D. is proving to be an excellent vape, very happy, and by all appearances the Cloned Big D doesn't have to many genetic flaws and should vape admirably too. Performance wise, well we are talking top tier, top gunn performance. Giving the Estia 510 a decent run for the vape. Well almost, Estia is just, well a very special lady, and will be very difficult to truly dethrone. But, Big D. puts in a valid vape attempt. Quite outstanding, quite.!!! Now the question is, which mod will the Cl.B.D. claim.

Umm, own 2 Magma's, both vert's and at 0.16 ohms, and using a boyscout wick trick, they will actually hold about 3 ml's
Even have a u-can so have a filling tank for when magma hits the road Though am considering adapting a tank for it but, hmm, the Big D. does challenge the magma on certain points, and it just looks so damn sexzy on the torched dragon. Must say. 
eratik, just got home for work and broke both the Authentic and Clone apart. While both are dang close, and on first inspection, identical, but there are some differences, that may way heavily in the clones favor. Here's 2 shots showing the 2 side by. SUI is on the right, base mounted on the Dragon.
main differences, threads are close, can get a turn or 2, but the pitch is off by just enough, that they are not interchangeable. But the assembled tanks + drip base can be transferred on either 510 base, though the clones O-rings aren't as tight as the authentic. Both are super snug on the Authentic, and both are just good and snug on the clone
if that makes sense. Also the vent holes on the clones 510 base are off, well actually it's where they drilled the holes for the -posts are 45 degrees off putting vent slots between the -post and side wall, which will make building a bit more of a pain, plus change up the air intake options, or something like that.But the potentially good differences may prove to be quite a performance/flavor vape increase, and that is the clone has a domed top cap, where as the authentic cap is flat. Thinking this is 2 major fraking improvements in one design tweak.
1. Domed top caps over builds prove to many, to be a smoother flowing vape and more flavorful.
2. Thinking the domed curve will make it NO MORE GURGGLE from the juice not flowing down hill. Yeah thinking this one was tweaked/cloned and a big improvement.
The gurgle thing isn't to bad on the authentic, but the pontus system, tis terrible. but one still had to keep that in mind after priming.
Well after I post this, will fill both tanks with same juice, and test the vape and drip process and report back. Since both fit the same on top the 510 base, will have the fairest test possible. Same exact build, cause am using only it, same exact juice, that is DIY House Select, hmm, now which juice to use???

If you want to get a dripper that you don't have to put juice on every few pulls, buy a dripper tank setup. The tank feeds the wick juice so that you don't have to keep dripping juice onto the wick. I've used the AeroTank 2 but I haven't tried the Mega or the Nautilus. The AeroTank 2 is an awesome tank especially with the metal tank instead of the glass. I think it looks cooler without the glass in it. But anyways the AeroTank give good flavor and awesome vapor. Especially when you put the sub ohm coils in it. I've heard a lot of good things about the Nautilus tank too. I've read that it's one of the best bottom coil tanks on the market right now.
So basically read up on rebuilding and battery safety and buy a dripper tank.

erartik, Vape95 is where I purchased the Big D. clone. I often by in reverse of most, when it comes to gear that has a very high vape potential. After seeing the SUI BD, was fortunate enough to get one of the very last authentic available, before his unjustified legal probs, and after teardown, inspection and full comprehension of what this could do, and finding it exceptional, saw that it could easily be cloned in a quality production.
What I personally love about big D. besides being a dufuss to Harry, is the simplicity of the design. Most complicated thing on the whole system is the spring that returns the drip tip plunger. By simple displacement of volume, juice is injected into the drip well.
And must say, the domed drip cap is an HUGE!!! improvement fine tune tweek, one that hopefully the designer will implement in his next version. Yeah, better juice delivery system, juice literally streams down the domed side and fills the drip well. I'm using the nano-dragon wick method, running the fiber under the coils, in a C where the open ends are just past the end of the coil. going behind one of the -post's, pushing fiber under the coils, and blocking the back end. Then ensure the drip jet shoots into the C opening so there isn't any problem with equal juice distribution.
But this thing can vape at the level of the best of the best of the best stuff out there, well, that is if you know what the frak you are doing. in the tanked multi coiled rba category, it's up there, and when seated on the El Sigilo Torched Zodiac Dragon by Wu Tang Mods, with the Ebony Premium Wood Drip Tip by Jina Mods, I give it Unicorn Status, no question in my mind.
When I put this thing together, it was like when Potter was selected by his mod, tingle, harps playing, and when vaped heard her whinny and snort, or something like that. One of those vape epiphanies.
I'll likely use the clone tank on the authentic base, swap out the piston springs and use the Authentic tank on the clone base, and have the best of both clone and authentic gear combo, well 95% authentic.
My other dragon, the Gus Estia 510 has claimed. And Dragon Estia, does reign supream, but being a native tri-coiled rba, gives it a major advantage. Plus the fact that they forgot to include the 510 base housing, but would thread on the dragon.
Oh, and to all the new vapers and vape curious that are reading this, one, realize this is in not the quite correct forum, and is by no means the kind of gear the a new vaper would or should even consider to try, well ya can but were talking a 4 bill apv. and that was like on sale serious. hmm, forgot, oh, yeah, and will likely be moved. or not, don't know. But the question was asked, so I answered to the best of me ability. A little over 1 Year ago, didn't know vape chit, thanks to the folks here at the ecf, well, have a much better understanding of what is vape possible, and how to do it safety.
Oh, and The Doctor is back, ahh, this one has beaten Blink.!!! who fans rejoice, we have a winner in the house

Umm, yeah, my pleasure. Always happy to umm, help one with their collection. tis a keeper for tank and dripper fans alike. I generally prefer tanked bc rba's, but after getting the flash-e-vapor V2, another tanked dripper rba, but can be used with or without tank, started being more aware of drippers, the magma proved to be a win, and so has big D. umm, don't even go looking at the Gus Estia. yeah, don't think about it, don't search for it, I did not even mention it.
I'm a big fan of the magma atty, it holds a lot more than most RBA, and isn't too difficult to build on.
